FASTSIGNS Ranked First in Signage and Communication Category by Global Franchise

2023-02-28T09:25:45-05:00February 28th, 2023|Tags: , , , , |

The Leading Sign, Graphics and Visual Communications Franchise Wins its Fifth Consecutive Global Franchise Award at the Annual IFA Conference.

CARROLLTON, Texas — FASTSIGNS®, the leading sign, graphics and visual communications franchise in the nation, ranked first in “Signage & Communication” for the annual Global Franchise Awards. This marks the fifth consecutive year FASTSIGNS has won this award, highlighting the brand’s superb ethics, dedication and excellence as an international franchisor.

“Our franchisees work to establish FASTSIGNS as the go-to resource for visual communications in their communities and receiving this prestigious recognition for the fifth year is a testament to the strength of our growing network,” said Mark Jameson, chief support and development officer at Propelled Brands. “We are thrilled to be recognized as number one in our category for both this award as well as recently in Entrepreneur magazine’s highly competitive Franchise 500® list. We are proud of our entire team and thank our amazing franchisees helping us to achieve these accolades.”

The Global Franchise Awards, now in its sixth year, honors exceptional franchise brands that are leaders in their respective categories. To decide the winners of these Awards, Global Franchise shortlists the applications using an independent panel of key, impartial and industry experts working to the criteria created by the Global Franchise team. Using these criteria as a guide, the judges select an entry from each category that best demonstrates the values Global Franchise is looking to celebrate.

FASTSIGNS experienced exceptional growth last year surpassing $700 million in sales for the first time. Today there are over 765 FASTSIGNS locations in eight different countries with more being awarded as new franchisees continue to join FASTSIGNS. In 2022, 20 franchises were awarded through either traditional franchise agreements or through co-brands and conversions, including four international locations. Currently, at least 400 more U.S. and Canadian markets and additional international markets are targeted for development.

“FASTSIGNS was a ‘leap of faith’ or a ‘leap before you look’ type of situation, but we have never regretted it for a single moment,” said Donna Bilodeau, FASTSIGNS franchisee of Windsor, Ontario. “The support from FASTSIGNS is second to none. The corporate team is designed to assist the franchisees in making our businesses front runners in the industry. We have grown many relationships and sales over the years, and could not have done it without the support of our franchisor and the family of other franchisees.”

The total investment for a FASTSIGNS franchise is approximately $233,555$307,308 including a $49,750 franchise fee. Ideal candidates have a net worth of $300,000, of which $80K is liquid. Additionally, FASTSIGNS offers a special incentive for veterans and first responders, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, police officers, sheriffs and firefighters, which includes a 50% reduction on the franchise fee — a savings of $24,875.

Self-Starting Entrepreneur Signs Agreement with Re-Bath for Greater D.C. Market

2023-02-23T10:02:38-05:00February 23rd, 2023|Tags: , , , |

Leading Bathroom Remodeling Franchise Expands Footprint in Virginia and Maryland with Seasoned Entrepreneur.

WASHINGTONRe-Bath, the nation’s largest complete bathroom remodeling franchise, has announced a single territory signed agreement for the greater D.C. market. The territory spans northeast Virginia, from Leesburg to Fredericksburg, and officially opened on January 13. With large retailer partnerships contributing to the brand’s growth and market share gains driving nearly an 31% YOY increase in systemwide sales, existing and new franchisees are flocking to the franchise opportunity.

Growing Re-Bath’s presence on the East Coast is Raj Kapoor, a self-starting entrepreneur and longtime Virginia native. Kapoor began his entrepreneurial journey after opening his first restaurant at age 19. Since then, he has opened more than 15 restaurants – having completed the construction himself and running the operations for each one. When the business started doing well, Kapoor would sell it and start over on a new endeavor. While he still runs one deli-style restaurant in D.C., Kapoor sought after a change and wanted to get into a business with a franchise model.

“I came across Re-Bath after getting my deck done with Lowe’s and was impressed with the streamlined process,” said Kapoor. “My past experiences were never like this – I am used to having to chase after the contractors. With my Re-Bath opened and operating, I hope it becomes a business that customers can rely on, which is important for home remodeling. I’ve lived in Virginia for 32 years so I see there’s a need for bathroom remodeling services and I look forward to being a dependable business for my community and beyond.”

Re-Bath has grown into a trusted and respected service provider known for expert, affordable, and effortless bathroom remodeling solutions that transform homeowners’ bathrooms in days, not weeks. Whether seeking a tub or shower area update, better accessibility and safety in your bathroom or a complete bathroom remodel, Re-Bath makes bathroom remodeling easy. The company’s exclusive remodel process removes old materials and fixtures and replaces them with beautiful new options in a wide variety of colors and styles.

“When bringing on a new franchisee, you want that partner to align with the brand’s vision and Raj is exactly that person,” said Sharon Villegas, Chief Revenue Officer of Re-Bath. “He values the franchise model, and even with his vast entrepreneur experience, he knew he needed to first understand our model. We are excited to have a passionate franchisee brought onboard who is fully invested in our brand.”

As the largest bathroom remodeling company in the United States, Re-Bath has established a proven business model, unparalleled franchise office support, and an infrastructure for growth as it continues to seek strategic franchise partners to expand its footprint nationwide. The executive leadership team has seen consistent new development across the East Coast with 24 territories still available for growth, three specifically in the D.C. market. Collectively, the D.C. territories boast a population count of 4.5 million and 11 retail partner stores.

Per Re-Bath’s Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees with territories between 1.25 and 2.5 million people had average revenues of over $2.8 million in 2021, up over 21% from 2020*.

The success achieved by the brand has not gone unnoticed as Re-Bath recently earned the No. 283 spot on Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2023 Franchise 500®, the world’s first, best and most comprehensive franchise ranking. Re-Bath also ranked No. 2 on Qualified Remodeler‘s Top 500 Nationals List and was recognized as No. 1 in the “Best Bathroom Renovations” category on Bob Vila’s 2022 Best Home Improvement Contractors of 2022 Ranking.  The franchise is building off this momentum for repeated success throughout 2023, with a goal of awarding 25 franchise agreements while strengthening performance and same-store-sales.

For more information on Re-Bath and franchise opportunities, visit www.rebathfranchise.com/ or call 888-454-8842.

*The figures reflect average and median sales revenue and average gross profits for 36 Re-Bath franchised businesses with territories of between 1.25 million and 2.5 million residents, and which were in operation for at least one year. These averages and medians are based on a 52-week fiscal period from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021. Of these 36 franchised businesses, 11 (or 31%) attained or exceeded the average sales revenue and 15 (or 42%) attained or exceeded the average gross profit. Some outlets have sold this amount. Individual results may vary. There is no assurance that you will sell as much as the average. See the Re-Bath 2022 Franchise Disclosure Document for details.

Send Me A Pro, First Franchise to Offer Multiple Home Services Under One Franchise, Hits 100+ Locations in 2 Years

2023-02-23T09:57:48-05:00February 23rd, 2023|Tags: , , , , , , , |

Everything from fitness & sports trainers, pet care providers, tutors, music instructors, child care providers, handyman services and much more.

MIAMI — Send Me A Trainer announces today the launch of Send Me A Pro, an online exclusive and managed marketplace that makes it easy to connect with local service providers that come to you. Everything from fitness & sports trainers, pet care providers, tutors, music instructors, child care providers and much more.

“As traction grew with Send Me A Trainer, our clients started to request that we connect them with other local in-home service providers such as tutors for their kids, and dog trainers and Send Me A Pro was born,” says Bary El-Yacoubi (IG: @baryceo), Co-Founder of Send Me A Pro. “At the core of our business model is connectivity. We connect clients with local vetted service providers. We started with personal trainers and are now expanding the marketplace to include other local services”.

“In the past decade we have seen the emergence of online marketplaces for products (such as Amazon), and this next decade will be about the digitization of the services economy with more services being booked online,” says Muhssin El-Yacoubi (IG: @muhssin), Co-Founder of Send Me A Pro. “Send Me A Pro distinguishes itself from other marketplaces by providing a higher level of convenience and quality through curating an exclusive network of providers, done-for-you booking, fixed pricing, and better customer service provided by our local franchise owner.”

Our franchisees are very excited about offering more services which allows them to increase their earning potential and grow their total addressable market (TAM). Franchisees can also continue to add more service categories and prioritize services that are in high demand in their market. Franchisees are identifying popular services that are already being offered by other businesses in their markets and this is their validation to add these services to their Send Me A Pro platform.

“The ability to offer multiple service businesses under one franchise is groundbreaking and is disrupting the franchise industry,” says Muhssin El-Yacoubi (IG: @muhssin), Co-Founder of Send Me A Pro. “Historically speaking, every category is a standalone franchise. No one has ever aggregated multiple services with an Uber like experience under one franchise, until now. Send Me A Pro is changing the way people think of franchising as they don’t have to limit themselves to just one category anymore”.

“Since introducing Send Me A Pro, the number of inquiries from prospective franchise candidates has over tripled,” says Bary El-Yacoubi (IG: @baryceo), Co-Founder of Send Me A Pro. “Franchise consultants and brokers that help prospective franchise owners select a franchise are telling us that they have never seen such an exciting reaction from their clients as when introduced to Send Me A Pro. People that were once looking for a tutoring, dog walking, or maid service franchise are now considering Send Me A Pro. It’s an obvious choice for them as they can now simply offer all of these services and more through Send Me A Pro”.

Send Me A Pro continues to bring technology and Silicon Valley to the franchising world. Franchisees are attracted to our scalable, technology-enabled, home based business model with low overhead, no physical location and passive ownership options.

We have also received an influx of E-2 visa candidates as Send Me A Pro Franchise is very suitable for US immigrant visa applicants. To learn more about E-2, Franchise and international Master Franchise opportunities with Send Me A Pro and to apply, visit: https://www.sendmeaprofranchise.com.

2023-02-22T10:15:07-05:00February 22nd, 2023|Tags: , , |

The new location provides dog waste removal services to residents and communities of all sizes.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — DoodyCalls, a nationwide leader in pet waste removal services, is growing its footprint in the pooper scooper industry with the opening of an office in Kansas City, Missouri. DoodyCalls currently cleans up in over 80 territories across 26 states and has been named the number-one pet waste removal franchise in the United States by Entrepreneur Magazine’s annual Franchise 500 list.

Jerron and Melanie Batts, an active member of the Army Reserves with a career in Human Resources and a law student respectfully, were looking for a new challenge and a way to build a local legacy.  As recent Kansas City transplants, the Batts family officially open their DoodyCalls doors on March 1, 2023, and know their big business can offer the community a way to outsource the dirty work of having pets while giving the Batts team a chance to further integrate into their new stomping grounds, even when the work is messy.

“My wife and I are so excited to embark on our new business journey with DoodyCalls and become a bigger part of the Authority Brands franchise family and know there are invaluable resources that will help propel us to success right in our own neighborhood,” said Jerron Batts, co-owner and operator of DoodyCalls of Kansas City. “We are looking forward to growing deep roots in our community by offering our neighbors a valuable and reliable service that can give them back some meaningful time with their beloved pets.”

The Batts were originally attracted to the simple structure, fun branding, and valuable service DoodyCalls provides their customers around the country. Looking to find a franchise option that felt like family and offered support, Jerron Batts found a solution in DoodyCalls and parent company Authority Brands’ franchise network where the pair felt welcomed and like they had the top-down support at every level.

“Our team at DoodyCalls welcomes the dynamic Batts team into our franchise fold and we are happy to expand our offerings to the Heart of America in Missouri,” said Larry Amos, Vice President of DoodyCalls. “With the Kansas City team’s tenacity and passion for providing top-level customer service, we are optimistic about their future success in the community and look forward to continuing to support the team as the grow in the coming years.”

Ashley Schuetz Returns to Massage Heights as New CMO in Midst of Peak Growth Era

2023-02-22T10:06:12-05:00February 22nd, 2023|Tags: , , , , , , , |

Skilled Marketer Rejoins Massage, Skincare & Wellness Franchise to Build on Brand Rejuvenation.

SAN ANTONIO — As Massage Heights experiences record-breaking revenues, peak company Average Unit Volume (AUV) and introduces innovative new services, the flourishing brand’s marketing efforts will now be led by Ashley Schuetz, who was recently named as Chief Marketing Officer.

Schuetz formerly served with Massage Heights from 2012 to 2020 in the roles of Field Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing and Vice President of Marketing. While at Massage Heights, Schuetz also led the business development of The Gents Place, a membership-based men’s grooming and lifestyle club. Schuetz makes her comeback to Massage Heights following two years of honing her marketing skills as the VP of Marketing at the private-equity owned healthcare company BlueSprig, where she worked to make a positive impact on children with autism.

Marketers are Brand Leaders
Massage Heights President & CEO Susan Boresow said Schuetz’s deep understanding and appreciation of the franchising model, her empathy for franchisees and team members, and her acumen around modern, innovative marketing approaches made her the ideal fit to lead Massage Height’s marketing strategies.

“As someone who has spent the majority of my career in franchising and many marketing roles, I’m a firm believer some of the best brand leaders sit in the marketing seats,” Boresow said. “That’s because they have a deep understanding and appreciation of the customer journey. That is Ashley to a tee. With her obvious familiarity of our brand and appreciation of our Culture of Care, we’ve already seen her jump right in to helping our brand story be shared across various mediums with a new focused energy.”

Back & Better than Ever
Schuetz noted some of her broader initial goals are to help maintain consistent record-breaking revenue increases, uphold the highest of brand standards across the system and promote Massage Height’s best-in-class member and guest experiences. She’s also excited to build local and national awareness of new service rollouts, including a new facial offering in Q2.

“I’ve never stopped admiring the brand and the impact it has in the lives of our franchisees, members, guests, and massage and skin care therapists,” Schuetz said. “There’s been a significant amount of innovation and energy devoted to the refreshed company vision, culture and added resources from the expanded leadership team. It’s an exciting time to rejoin Massage Heights, with development ramping up and a rejuvenated brand story and experience.”

One of the first initiatives Schuetz is building up is the marketing department team, which will be focused on supporting franchisees on their local efforts to further drive brand awareness in each of their communities. “As we maintain a strong brand position on the national level, we know that same positioning has a powerful impact when tailored for our small business owners,” added Schuetz.
