In the early 1990s, Mickey McHenry’s father took an early retirement from his job and was looking to start a family business. He asked McHenry to join him, and they started looking for businesses to buy in the construction industry, eventually coming upon Paul Davis Restoration’s franchise opportunity. In 1996, the McHenrys purchased their South Atlanta, Georgia, location as one of the first franchisees in the Paul Davis Restoration network. By Kelsi Trinidad
