Atlanta’s Total Row Expands to North Carolina

2019-12-03T11:34:46-05:00December 3rd, 2019|Tags: , , , |

New Franchisee Plans 3 Locations in Raleigh

ATLANTA — Total Row, Atlanta’s premier rowing-centric fitness boutique, announced today it has sold rights for three new locations to open in Raleigh, North Carolina to a single franchisee. The new rowing boutiques are slated to open starting Q1 2020. The Atlanta-based brand is also on the verge of opening several new locations in the Atlanta metro area.

Total Row, which launched its expansive franchise plan earlier this year, offers entrepreneurs a unique, scalable, and flexible business model designed with a fast profitability track. Total Row’s initial investment costs, franchise fees and royalties are significantly lower than similar fitness franchises with an initial threshold of entry of less than $100K. The company’s scalable business approach is structured to enable franchisees to launch, grow, and reach profitability thresholds in a shorter time frame.

“We are very excited and proud to have Total Row expand into Raleigh and couldn’t be happier with our new North Carolina franchisee,” said Elliott Smith, CEO, Total Row. “We have spent years researching, developing, and perfecting a successful business model built on a community-first approach. It is designed to easily overcome barriers-to-entry concerns and targets bottom line growth within a much shorter timeframe.”

Listed on the SBA Registry, Total Row’s franchising plan offers a reduced cost structure allowing entrepreneurs and prospective franchisees lower initial investment, and reduced ongoing financial operating costs, resulting in the ability to reach earlier positive cash flow.

“As a family-run business, we are there every step of the process to help new franchisees find the success we have experienced in our Atlanta location,” said Smith. “This includes implementing and teaching the rowing & fitness training programs, helping structure the back-of-the-house operations, site selecting, and professional marketing support. Total Row franchisees will have access to day-to-day operational support to ensure the success and integrity of all fitness and business practices.”

CycleBar Partners with Young Survival Coalition in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness

2019-10-01T10:32:02-04:00October 1st, 2019|Tags: , , , , |

Boutique Cycling Brand will Help Warriors and Survivors Turn Lemons into “Pink Lemonade”

IRVINE, Calif.CycleBar, the world’s first and largest indoor cycling franchise, announced today that it has partnered with Young Survival Coalition (YSC), the country’s oldest and largest young cancer non-profit, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The cycling brand is launching its “Pink Lemonade” CycleGives campaign to raise money for the breast cancer organization, which provides free resources and programs to support, educate and empower women diagnosed before their 41st birthday.

YSC – with its national reach and focus on community and mind/body health for young women affected by cancer – is the ideal complement to the CycleBar experience, which is more than just a ride in the studio. It’s a uplifting, heart-pumping party on a bike, surrounded by an empowering community of riders to motivate any fitness journey.

As part of the “Pink Lemonade” campaign, CycleBar will host numerous charity classes, or CycleGives rides, in support of YSC at various locations around the nation, including studios in Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Dallas, Pensacola, and Wellington. CycleBar is no stranger to charitable giving as its CycleGives platform, which enables riders and instructors to raise money for specific causes they are most passionate about, has raised over $2 million through over 3,000 rides and 120,000 riders in under five years.

“We are honored to partner with Young Survival Coalition for this important cause,” said Ryan Junk, President of CycleBar. “Cancer is a terrible disease that has affected so many in our CycleBar community, and we want to do everything we can to show our support for these warriors and survivors.”

Jaclyn Alterwein, an instructor for CycleBar, is serving as the “Pink Lemonade” campaign ambassador, chosen because of her own battle with breast cancer a few years ago. At 47, Alterwein underwent a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery to beat the disease. She said her recovery wouldn’t be where it is today without her job and the CycleBar community that supported her physically, mentally and emotionally along the way.

Boutique Rowing Concept Opens First Canadian Studio in Toronto This Summer

IRVINE, Calif. — Following its rapid development in the United States, Row House, a low-impact, high-energy indoor rowing concept, announced today its first international studio development in Canada. As the demand for unique, boutique fitness concepts grows in the country, the brand is well-positioned to succeed with its efficient and effective rowing workouts. The inaugural Canadian location is set to debut in Toronto, and is targeting an opening date in summer 2019.

Currently Row House has 16 locations open and 200 territories sold in the United States and is on track to have over 100 studios open by the end of 2019. The company’s extensive domestic growth and success have led Row House to seek out international markets for expansion.

“Demand for this groundbreaking concept is incredibly high right now, so in Canada, we expect to see a trajectory of growth similar to what has occurred in the United States,” said Ramon Castillon, President of Row House. “We’re confident that our neighbors to the north will fully embrace the camaraderie, inclusivity and total-body results that Row House offers.”

The Toronto studio will be owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Steven and Elena Gliosca. Steven has worked in IT for 20 years, developing startups in Eastern Canada, while Elena is the owner of a local portrait photography studio. They were immediately hooked on the Row House workout and strong sense of community after visiting one of the brand’s New York locations.

“We are excited to bring the indoor rowing revolution to Canada with our Toronto studio,” said Elena. “As our city’s busy fitness scene continues to shift toward boutique offerings, we know that the population is going to fall in love with this well-balanced, structured and efficient workout.”

Long recognized by the rowing community as one of the most effective forms of full-body exercise, Row House will provide Canadian citizens an alternative fitness regimen that focuses on the safety and longevity of their bodies. The modern studio welcomes members into an atmosphere centered on camaraderie and drive, where participants row in-sync on state-of-the-art Concept2 rowing machines. Used every day by Olympic athletes, cardiac rehab patients, individuals at home and every caliber of rower in-between, the Concept2 is the authentic choice for those looking to marry low-impact cardio and strength training into one workout.
