DENVER — AlphaGraphics, a leading franchisor of printing and marketing solutions, recently ranked in Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500®, the world’s first, best and most comprehensive franchise ranking.

Placement in the Franchise 500® is a highly sought-after honor in the franchise industry making it one of the company’s most competitive rankings ever. AlphaGraphics was also named to the list in 2019.

“Making the Franchise 500 list is a testament to how dedicated both AlphaGraphics’ corporate staff and center owners are to performing at a high level,” said Bill McPherson, vice president of franchise development at AlphaGraphics. “At AlphaGraphics, we are locally focused with our centers understanding the challenges in their community. Recognized as an invaluable resource for potential franchisees, the Franchise 500® ranks AlphaGraphics as No. 232 for its outstanding performance in areas including unit growth, financial strength and stability, and brand identity.

“2020 was a challenging year for everyone, but it was also a year of unusual opportunity,” said Jason Feifer, Entrepreneur editor-in-chief. “Franchises were able to be nimble and innovative, serving the needs of franchisees and customers in ways that will resonate for many years to come. We believe that, when we eventually look back on this time, we’ll see it as a moment when many brands defined themselves for the future.”

In Entrepreneur’s continuing effort to best understand and evaluate the ever-changing franchise marketplace, the company’s 42-year-old ranking formula continues to evolve as well. The key factors that go into the evaluation include costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability.

Anago Cleaning Systems Welcomes New Master Franchise in Denver, Colorado

2021-01-26T09:33:19-05:00January 26th, 2021|Tags: , , , |

Father and Son Team Take the Reins of Anago’s Presence in the Centennial State.

DENVER Anago Cleaning Systems, an industry-leading commercial cleaning franchise with over 1,700 Regional and Unit Franchises throughout the U.S. and Canada, announced its newest franchise owners in Denver, Colorado. Father and son team, Dante and Alex Caravaggio will lead the Anago unit franchise expansion in the Centennial State.

Denver continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in the US as businesses and entrepreneurs continue to invest in Colorado. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Anago of Denver is positioned to remain on the frontlines, keeping businesses as disinfected and safe as possible until the virus is controlled and stopped. Like all businesses, Anago experienced a slow-down in the early months of the pandemic but recovered quickly with specialized disinfecting services emerging as the most requested cleaning program.

“Dante and Alex are exemplary Master Franchise owners, each bringing unique business, finance and leadership qualities and experience to the Anago family,” said Adam Povlitz, CEO & President of Anago Cleaning Systems. “We’re excited to continue offering Denver-based entrepreneurs the opportunity to own their own Anago commercial cleaning unit franchise.”

When discussing the Master Franchise model, Dante Caravaggio said, “Unit franchise opportunities are a wonderful way to step into the world of business ownership. We have met several extremely successful unit franchise owners who have reaped the benefits for over 20 years. While we do our best to provide unit franchise owners the tools and support needed to succeed, the success of their business is ultimately on them. A unit franchise can be as large or small as they choose to be.”

Both engineers in the oil and gas industry with more than 50 years combined experience, Dante and Alex have found a new passion working side-by-side.

“This is an opportunity for my father and I to work together in a business,” said Alex Caravaggio. “We saw that Anago had a recession-resistant model that provided several revenue streams to ensure better business stability. Anago’s reputation, stability and performance within a recession-proof industry is something I feel very confident in continuing to build and offer in the Denver metroplex area.”

Anago Cleaning Systems is a pioneer of the franchise system for both master and unit franchises, which allows successful mid-career professionals to operate their own exclusive regional franchises, while allowing small businesses to invest in their success. Two Maids & A Mop Achieves Significant Milestones in 2020

2021-01-25T16:34:22-05:00January 25th, 2021|Tags: , , |

Leader in Residential Cleaning Surpasses 27 Million in Sales.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Two Maids & A Mop, the nation’s largest residential cleaning franchise, announced today that it achieved significant growth and success in 2020, attaining a 5.6% increase in system-wide sales and setting three of the highest network revenue records since the brand opened in 2003. Amid the pandemic, Two Maids & A Mop acquired nearly 10,000 new customers and opened 11 new locations including Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Temple, Texas, Augusta, Georgia and Aurora, Colorado. This impressive growth reinforces the strength of the brand’s system and positions them for continued success in 2021, with a goal to open 30 new locations before the end of the year.

“We’re extremely proud to be able to celebrate these achievements, as the challenges we faced this year, both personally and professionally, were unprecedented,” said Ron Holt, Founder and CEO of Two Maids & A Mop. “Through all the uncertainty, our Two Maids & A Mop network truly banded together to become a strong support system for each other, helping to break through any roadblocks that arose for small business owners. That comradery helped 44 of our locations achieve monthly revenue records during the pandemic, which is unbelievable. As we look ahead, we are more confident than ever in the strength of our franchise system, the guidance of our leadership team, and the passion of our franchise owners. We are excited to see what we can achieve together in the coming year.”

While Two Maids & A Mop was deemed an essential business and was able to continue operating during COVID-19, the company still had to pivot its focus to better serve customers dealing with the effects of the pandemic. Aligning with their passion of serving others, many franchise owners continued providing free cleans for families that couldn’t afford to continue service, put together care packages, purchased coloring books and crayons for children at home, donated to local food banks in their customers’ names, executed grocery delivery drop-offs for elderly customers, among other efforts.

Additionally, Two Maids & A Mop continued to support its partnership with Cleaning For A Reason, donating more than 1,400 free cleans to patients battling cancer, and announced a new system-wide partnership with The Finely Project, an organization that provides support to families who have experienced the loss of an infant.

“Supporting our nation’s military remains a priority for our veteran-founded business. We are honored to make this donation to the Help A Hero program for those who have given so much through their service,” said Gordon Logan, Air Force veteran, VFW Life member and founder and chairman of Sport Clips. “We’re grateful to our franchisees, team members, clients, and product partners who faithfully support these essential scholarships.”

“The pandemic’s impact has been far-reaching, especially for our military and veteran families, and this campaign helps to ensure we continue to provide as many student veterans with scholarships as possible,” said Hal Roesch II, VFW national commander. “I’m proud to announce that we have awarded another 160 student veterans with scholarships totaling nearly $700,000 for the spring 2021 semester. To date, more than 1,900 military and student veterans have benefitted from the Help A Hero Scholarship program through $8.7 million donated previously by Sport Clips Haircuts and its generous clients and product partners.”

More than $60,000 of the money was raised this year was from Sport Clips’ own $1 per haircare service donation made on Veterans Day while clients, individual supporters, and Sport Clips team members donated the largest portion of the money raised in stores and through virtual walks. Sport Clips partners Direct Beauty Express, John Paul Mitchell Systems, Nioxin, Sexy Hair, Gibs Grooming, ACTiiV, and Darlington Raceway also made substantial contributions.

Help A Hero Scholarship applications are open now through April 30 for the fall 2021 semester to receive up to $5,000 of assistance per semester, per family for service members and veterans in the rank of E-5 and below. 2021-01-25T14:31:17-05:00January 25th, 2021|Tags: , , , , , , , , |

Club Pilates, Pure Barre and CycleBar Rank at 104, 119, and 351 Respectively on the Coveted List.

IRVINE, Calif. — 2020 did not hold back the brands of Xponential Fitness, the largest curator of premium boutique fitness brands across eight different verticals. Three of the company’s brands – Club Pilates, Pure Barre and CycleBar – landed a spot in Entrepreneur magazine’s coveted 2021 Franchise 500 list as a result of another year of impressive unit growth, financial strength and stability and brand power. Club Pilates was ranked 104; Pure Barre was ranked 119, up from its previous spot of 300; and CycleBar landed at 351, up 128 spots from last year.

“The strong showing on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 across these three Xponential Fitness brands demonstrates that boutique fitness is here to stay and the best is yet to come,” said Sarah Luna, President of Xponential Fitness. “Our members love the world-class workouts and unmatched sense of community we provide, whether that’s inside our studios or virtually, and these rankings are a testament to our franchise owners’ passion, commitment and hard work day in and day out, especially given the challenges 2020 presented them.”

Each franchise is given a cumulative score based on an analysis of more than 150 data points, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores become the Franchise 500® in ranking order.

While some fitness brands struggled to find their footing following the onset of the pandemic and other challenges that arose in 2020, Xponential Fitness proved to be a beacon of resilience and creativity in the industry. When adversity struck, franchise owners were empowered to pivot by offering outdoor and virtual workouts, with some brands even renting out equipment to keep members healthy and engaged. The company’s strategies have proven effective as it has retained more than 86% of members across all eight brands, which also include YogaSix, Row House, StretchLab, AKT, and STRIDE.

Xponential Fitness also saw extensive growth over the past year, signing numerous franchise deals and opening new locations around the world, even at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. Notably, the company opened five brands in Saudi Arabia, including Club Pilates, Pure Barre, AKT, YogaSix, and CycleBar locations, as well as the first of many CycleBar studios in Australia. Exciting new franchise agreements signed will also bring Xponential studios to Germany, Singapore, Spain and the Dominican Republic.

Beyond the in-studio experience in 2020, Xponential debuted online workouts across all of its brands last year through its proprietary streaming platform called GO, bringing premium classes directly to consumers’ homes.

“Sending ALL Our Love To Seniors This Valentine’s Day” Card Campaign Launched by Assisted Living Locators

2021-01-25T14:12:12-05:00January 25th, 2021|Tags: , , , , , , |

PHOENIX — Assisted Living Locators (ALL), a nationwide senior placement and referral service, is launching a card campaign, “Sending ALL Our Love To Seniors This Valentine’s Day,” collecting cards of love to make seniors feel special this Valentine’s Day!  Assisted Living Locators’ 140 franchise locations are distributing the cards to residents at assisted living and skilled nursing communities throughout the U.S.

“Let’s ALL get creative with handcrafted valentines and uplift our seniors during this ongoing pandemic,” said Angela Olea, Assisted Living Locators CEO RN.  “We’re on a mission to make sure seniors, our most vulnerable population, are loved this Valentine’s Day. We ask the community’s help, from adults to young children, to participate in this card campaign and brighten a senior’s day.”

Participants can mail the cards to their local Assisted Living Locators office. To find out a local care advisor near you,  call 1-877-226-7780 or enter your zipcode on the website, www.assistedlivinglocators.com.

Follow these simple guidelines:

  • Please WASH YOUR HANDS before writing cards and do not seal envelopes.
  • On front of envelope: To Someone Special
  • To sign the card for children: Name and age or grade
  • To sign the card as an adult: Name and hometown
  • Include a Return Address on the envelope, if you wish, so seniors can write back.
  • Keep messages positive. (“You are being thought of today.” “Hope this card makes you feel special today.”)

“We all remember the warm glow a Valentine’s Day card can bring,” said Olea. “This campaign will most certainly lift the spirits of the seniors we serve.”

Olea added that if you’re a caregiver of a senior that is struggling with loneliness at home, now is the time to consider transitioning to an assisted living community. “Not only are residents and staff prioritized to receive the first round of coronavirus vaccine, but assisted living communities remain a safe and viable way to combat the isolation and loneliness that result from sheltering in place during the pandemic,” she explained.  “These communities offer technology connection options for families during social distancing, daily exercise, social activity, and a clean, safe environment.”

Local Entrepreneurs in Kingwood, Texas Becomes Next Rosati’s Pizza Franchisee

2021-01-25T14:00:59-05:00January 25th, 2021|Tags: , , , , |

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Rosati’s Pizza, ranked among the top 500 franchises in the United States by Entrepreneur Magazine, announced today the addition of their 5th franchisee in the state of Texas. The newest franchisees, Calvin Dodson and his partner Darren Frankenberger, plan to open a Rosati’s sports pub in Kingwood, TX the summer of 2021.

Calvin and Darren are excited about the location they picked in Kingwood, TX because the location offers a highly trafficked shopping center with a major grocery store retailer and is right off the interstate, a main gateway to Houston and the IAH airport.  Calvin explained “Houston has been expanding into the suburbs and there is significant growth in our geographic area which we plan to capitalize on with Rosati’s Pizza.”

“Rosati’s has over 200 pizza restaurants serving Chicago style and Italian food nationally and we are proud to welcome Calvin and Darren to be part of the franchise family,” said Anthony Rosati, President of Rosati’s Pizza. “As life-long residents in the community and having a variety of business success in other ventures, our team feels confident Calvin and Darren will be a good fit for the first Rosati’s in the Kingwood market. Both partners have been successful in other opportunities they have pursued. “With a team like Calvin and Darren, expansion into the Houston market is a milestone moment for the brand. We have expectations for the Houston area to follow that of Phoenix, where Calvin and Darren are the first of hopefully many stores to come,” said Anthony.
