Local owners Lilliana Aranda and Chad Taylor will introduce their new business to the community with two local events at a bowling alley and a home show in late February

FRISCO, Texas — Window Hero, a HomeFront Brands franchise specializing in a wide range of exterior cleaning services, announced today it will celebrate the opening of its Frisco, Texas, location with a ceremony at Strikz Entertainment Bowling Alley at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 and an appearance at the Home & Garden Show of Collin County Feb. 23-25 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center.

Local owners Lilliana Aranda and her business partner and fiancé, Chad Taylor, along with the Frisco Chamber of Commerce will meet with locals for a ribbon cutting at the bowling alley located at 8789 Lebanon Road, Frisco. Aranda and Taylor will also host a booth at Collin County’s home show, where visitors have a chance to win a Yeti cooler and $50 off any of their services to use in March. They will be at Booth T13.

“Owning an exterior cleaning company provides us with the prospect of offering revitalization services to residential and commercial buildings throughout the Frisco and north Texas areas,” Aranda said. “It’s exciting to be able to wash away dirty buildup so that our clients are provided with a fresh perspective. Clean windows not only make a home more attractive, they also increase its resale value. Regular window cleaning prevents damage to panes, sills and frames.”

Aranda understands the benefit of keeping the exterior of a home tidy. She serves as the health, safety and environmental manager for Got Safety LLC, where she is in charge of the company’s occupational health and safety and OSHA compliance standards.

“This position has given me the ability to cultivate safe environments within organizations and ensure the well-being of employees,” Aranda said. “This has given me the keen eye for detail and an ease with the fieldwork I’ll need to run our Window Hero location.”

Aranda and Taylor are both from Hobbs, New Mexico, a small town “where everybody knows everyone else,” she said. The couple came to Texas a little more than eight years ago. During that time, Aranda has pursued her education in health and safety by receiving a certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. She said she is still struck by the beauty of the Frisco area.

“I’m so excited to be a part of the unfolding Frisco narrative and I am enamored with the area,” Aranda said. “Frisco’s vibrant atmosphere, exceptional educational institutions, diverse community and consistent growth make it a wonderful place to live and raise a family.”

As a former U.S. Army soldier, Taylor is committed to the service of others and enjoys working outdoors. For the past 20 years, he has worked for an oil well service company as the vice president of sales and in operations management.

Taylor has owned other businesses in the past, including a real estate agency, a property management company, an escrow company and a property investment business.

“My duties in the property investment industry encompassed readying buildings for sale,” Taylor said. “That included power washing the exterior and improving the interior with paint and light remodeling. You have to have a great curb appeal if you want to stand out in the market. I understand how important a clean building is in improving the look and feel of a building.”

In addition to working together to build their exterior cleaning service, Aranda and Taylor also have three sons.

“Chad and I are dedicated to adding to the beauty of this area,” Aranda said. “We want our Window Hero location to enhance the vibrancy of the Frisco area. We can tell Frisco is growing area but still has the same values and kind-hearted people that smaller towns have. We’re excited about starting our business here.”

“We want to beautify Boise one neighborhood at a time,” Taylor said. “In addition to making sure we provide the best service to our clients, we also want to be good stewards of this community. We’d like to focus on properties here that need a little extra care and upkeep. We’d like to have the community vote on those properties that need cleaning most and then provide those properties with an exterior clean and even do some light yard work to help bring a beautiful aesthetic to our area.”

Taylor is originally from San Jose, California, but has called Boise his home for more than 30 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, and has a background in customer service.

He also served as a building maintenance manager for 10 years and has experience in the cleaning and restoration of windows, tile, concrete, carpeting and wood floors as a result of this experience.

But it is his love of Boise that made him want to open a business in the area after working for several larger companies for most of his professional life.

“I fell in love with the outdoors and mountains here,” said Taylor.. “The people in our community are so friendly and willing to help their neighbors. It’s the perfect place to contribute to my neighbors in a positive way while giving me a chance to grow my Window Hero location.”

North Carolinians AJ Bodick and Garrett Chisum also win the CARES Award  at the 2023 HomeFront Brands convention

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Window Hero Lake Norman owners AJ Bodick and Garrett Chisum were presented with both the Franchisee of the Year and the CARES awards at HomeFront Brands’ inaugural franchisee convention for their hard work and dedication to their franchise brand.

As the Window Hero Franchisees of the Year, Bodick and Chisum were honored for their commitment to building their business and their positive impact on the franchise and the community. They received trophies and a $1,500 voucher for digital marketing services.

The two also won the CARES Award, named for HomeFront Brands’ core values of community, accountability, respect, excellence and service. This award is given to a HomeFront Brands’ franchisee that has captured the admiration of their peers and is determined by a vote of the franchisee community.

Bodick and Chisum have been friends for 18 years and are passionate about the region they grew up in. Bodick and his wife Jessie and their two children, Xander and Ivy, enjoy organized outdoor games like tee ball or soccer while Chisum and his wife Emma and daughter, Alice, are more up for hanging out with friends.

Bodick has owned and operated Window Hero Lake Norman since 2017. Chisum signed on in 2022 when the location became a part of the HomeFront Brands franchise family.

Owner Ben Brown gives back to his community by providing free exterior cleaning services to area schools

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — When Ben Brown decided to open his West Knoxville location of Window Hero, a HomeFront Brands franchise specializing in a wide range of exterior cleaning services, his goal to give back to the community was as strong as his desire to own his own business.

In the eight months that Window Hero West Knoxville has been in operation, Brown has been able to make a splash in the community by cleaning the exteriors of five schools in the community with the goal of revitalizing and enhancing the appearance of these schools’ campuses.

A.L. Lotts Elementary School, Cedar Bluff Elementary School, Farragut Primary School, Hardin Valley Elementary School, and Rocky Hill Elementary School all received a full-service cleaning that included pressure washing sidewalks, cleaning windows, and soft washing a specific area of the building. Window Hero West Knoxville also pressure washed the schools’ signs to make them look like new.

The company also cleaned the sidewalks and entryways at Northshore Elementary School, which welcomed Brown as its “Principal for a Day” on Nov. 16. Principal for a Day is a half-day experience that connects business leaders with Knox County Schools’ principals to open the lines of communication between public education and the community.

“Opening a Window Hero complemented my personal goals of giving back to the community that means so much to me,” Brown said. “I always wanted to find ways to impact my community while also building a reputation as a trusted property service provider. My involvement with Window Hero has allowed me to do that.”

Brown said that Window Hero’s founder, Tyler Kirk, and Jeff Dudan, chairman and CEO of Window Hero’s parent company, HomeFront Brands, have provided a strong franchise culture that not only promotes success but also encourages community involvement.

And for Brown, who spent most of his career in software sales and business development, making the change to entrepreneurship was a daunting task made easier by the HomeFront Brands team.

His service-oriented approach has long been a part of his personality. He and his wife, Brittany, have always been active in their community and are the engaged parents of Cooper, Hutch and Caroline.

Brown coaches several of his son’s sports teams and is active in their church. The family enjoys being outside, playing sports, hiking and biking.

HomeFront Brands, the property service franchise platform with six emerging concepts in its portfolio, hosted its inaugural convention, entitled “Homecoming,” at the company’s headquarters outside of Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this month. The conference brought together franchisees, corporate employees and vendor partners to celebrate HomeFront Brands’ impressive growth since its inception in late 2022.

The residential exterior cleaning franchise is owned by a U.S. Navy veteran who wants to bring high quality exterior work to the southeastern part of the state 

READING, Pa. — Window Hero, a HomeFront Brands franchise specializing in a wide range of exterior cleaning services, announced today it is opening a second location in Pennsylvania with a venture in Northeast Reading. Window Hero Northeast Reading is owned by U.S. Navy veteran Michael Yednock, an electronics and robotics technician.

“I had always wanted to open my own business and the team at HomeFront Brands really sold me on Window Hero,” Yednock said. “They are knowledgeable and professional and know how to guide new business owners to run a successful franchise. With their guidance, I’m excited to take the leap into entrepreneurship.”

Yednock is a Reading native and attended military schools in Great Lakes, Illinois and in Dahlgren, Virginia. He spent six years in the Navy where he worked as an electronics technician and supervised personnel. He now works as field services engineer for Azenta Life Sciences.

Residential exterior cleaning franchise brings a wide variety of home maintenance, cleaning and repair services to Philadelphia area

WARMINSTER, Penn. — Window Hero, a HomeFront Brands franchise specializing in a wide range of exterior cleaning services, announced today it is opening the first location in Pennsylvania. The new venture, located in Warminster, is owned by business partners CJ Orr and Michael Gabriel.  Window Hero Warminster will offer window cleaning, gutter care, pressure washing and more.

Orr and Gabriel had expressed interest in entrepreneurship and franchising for years and were ready to turn dreams into reality when they came across the opportunity with Window Hero.

“I have had an interest in franchising for some time now, and Window Hero really caught our attention. After we visited the Homefront Brands facility, we were sold,” Orr said. “Throughout my career, I have learned the importance of systems and models, which gives me even more appreciation for Window Hero.”

After spending six years as a union railroader, Orr built experience as a realtor alongside Gabriel, a Marine Corps veteran. Having grown up in the Philadelphia area, Orr and Gabriel expressed an urgent need for reliable home service contractors.

“As a realtor, I see the growing demand for exterior cleaning in the residential space,” Gabriel said. “We want Window Hero to be the go-to solution for exterior cleaning in the Philadelphia area, and I’m confident our combined skillset and work ethic will help get us there.”

Married with three kids, Gabriel wants to create a scalable business he can pass down to his children that holds value in the community. The business duo said their ultimate goal is to create a family legacy through Window Hero, as well as making a positive impact in the area.

“I hope to inspire the people around me to adopt my entrepreneurial spirit and find a self-motivated attitude and mentality,” Orr said. “Ultimately helping the next person that can contribute to the community.”
