A system is an organized framework or method. Follow a system and your chances of failure decrease dramatically. There’s a system to flying an aircraft, driving a car, programming a computer, and so on. Would you rather fly as a passenger with a pilot who has no system to follow in the event of an approaching storm or with a pilot who has the system in place for an approaching storm? Similarly, a franchise is a system of dos, don’ts, hows, whys, whats, whos, whens and wheres for the pending franchise owner. And for the most part franchising is a well-oiled system.
