“Sending ALL Our Love To Seniors This Valentine’s Day” Card Campaign Launched by Assisted Living Locators

2021-01-25T14:12:12-05:00January 25th, 2021|Tags: , , , , , , |

PHOENIX — Assisted Living Locators (ALL), a nationwide senior placement and referral service, is launching a card campaign, “Sending ALL Our Love To Seniors This Valentine’s Day,” collecting cards of love to make seniors feel special this Valentine’s Day!  Assisted Living Locators’ 140 franchise locations are distributing the cards to residents at assisted living and skilled nursing communities throughout the U.S.

“Let’s ALL get creative with handcrafted valentines and uplift our seniors during this ongoing pandemic,” said Angela Olea, Assisted Living Locators CEO RN.  “We’re on a mission to make sure seniors, our most vulnerable population, are loved this Valentine’s Day. We ask the community’s help, from adults to young children, to participate in this card campaign and brighten a senior’s day.”

Participants can mail the cards to their local Assisted Living Locators office. To find out a local care advisor near you,  call 1-877-226-7780 or enter your zipcode on the website, www.assistedlivinglocators.com.

Follow these simple guidelines:

  • Please WASH YOUR HANDS before writing cards and do not seal envelopes.
  • On front of envelope: To Someone Special
  • To sign the card for children: Name and age or grade
  • To sign the card as an adult: Name and hometown
  • Include a Return Address on the envelope, if you wish, so seniors can write back.
  • Keep messages positive. (“You are being thought of today.” “Hope this card makes you feel special today.”)

“We all remember the warm glow a Valentine’s Day card can bring,” said Olea. “This campaign will most certainly lift the spirits of the seniors we serve.”

Olea added that if you’re a caregiver of a senior that is struggling with loneliness at home, now is the time to consider transitioning to an assisted living community. “Not only are residents and staff prioritized to receive the first round of coronavirus vaccine, but assisted living communities remain a safe and viable way to combat the isolation and loneliness that result from sheltering in place during the pandemic,” she explained.  “These communities offer technology connection options for families during social distancing, daily exercise, social activity, and a clean, safe environment.”

PHOENIX — Assisted Living Locators, a nationwide senior placement and referral franchise, has been included in Franchise Dictionary Magazine’s Top 100 Game Changers for 2020. This is the third consecutive year the company has received this recognition.

Franchises on the Game Changers list were evaluated on criteria such as how they are impacting veterans, serving their communities, making an impact, creating an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs, filling a niche and whether they are a choice of millennials.

The third annual Game Changer list, which is part of the December issue of Franchise Dictionary Magazine, cites Assisted Living Locators as ideal for anyone seeking a home-based franchise that’s not only in a recession-resilient industry with long-term growth potential, but also a rewarding opportunity to help families, enhance senior lives and make money without charging clients a fee. They also noted that the company was the first to introduce a franchise model in the senior placement industry.

“We are honored to be named as a Game Changer franchise,” said Angela Olea, Assisted Living Locators CEO RN. “We have always known that Assisted Living Locators was a game changer because there’s unlimited potential for franchise owners, and especially now as a home-based business during this pandemic. Senior care franchises, like Assisted Living Locators, are recession-or COVID-resilient since they are essential need services. For more than a decade, our company has been dedicated to providing compassionate care and help to seniors and their families across the country.”

Alesia Visconti, CEO / Publisher of Franchise Dictionary Magazine says, “Franchise ownership allows people to follow their dreams of being their own boss and taking control of their futures. It supports people working for themselves but not by themselves. It’s a community of professionals all supporting successful business ownership. A brand that earns the Top 100 Game Changers designation raises the bar and clearly sets itself apart!”

The Franchise Dictionary Magazine is a leading franchise publication in both digital and print format and has more than 350,000 readers. It targets prospective franchisees in an informative and educational manner and is well-respected throughout the industry.

Assisted Living Locators Named a “Top Growth Franchise” by Entrepreneur Magazine

2020-09-15T10:21:26-04:00September 15th, 2020|Tags: , , , , , , |

PHOENIX — Assisted Living Locators was recently ranked in Entrepreneur magazine’s first Top Growth Franchises list. This list recognizes the 150 companies with the greatest positive franchise unit growth in North America over a three-year period, based on data submitted for Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500® ranking. Thanks to its exceptional growth, Assisted Living Locators was ranked #123.

“We’re honored to be named to this prestigious list,” said Angela Olea, Assisted Living Locators CEO RN. “Our consistent franchise sales, even during COVID-19, demonstrates that franchisee candidates are recognizing the senior space growth potential and the essential need for Assisted Living Locators services. We offer an affordable franchise opportunity with a growing customer base, where you can make a difference in your community.”

“By maintaining steady, sustained growth over several years, these franchises have demonstrated that they have the systems in place to support their franchisees and help them become successful,” says Jason Feifer, Entrepreneur’s editor-in-chief. “Now as these and other companies around the country face unprecedented challenges, they may see their growth slow, but that record of success could prove more important than ever.”

To determine the 2020 Top Growth Franchises ranking, Entrepreneur looked at each company’s U.S. and Canadian franchise numbers over a three-year period (from July 2016 to July 2019; given the rapid changes, COVID-19 impacts weren’t taken into account). In order to qualify, companies had to have positive growth of at least five units each year. They were ranked based on a formula that considers their total positive U.S. and Canadian franchise growth over the three years.

FirstLight Home Care CEO drives nearly 1,500 miles to recognize Stephanie King for outstanding dedication, service and integrity.

OMAHA, Neb. — FirstLight Home Care, an award-winning provider of non-medical home care, named Omaha resident Stephanie King its 2020 National Caregiver of the Year. Stephanie, with FirstLight Home Care of Omaha, was presented the accolade this week during a personal visit from the company’s CEO and co-founder Jeff Bevis, along with his wife, Maribeth.

The Caregiver of the Year award is usually presented at an annual gala during FirstLight Home Care’s national conference. However, due to COVID-19, the conference was postponed. Jeff and Maribeth wanted to give Stephanie the recognition she deserved in person, so they hit the road and made a special trip, driving nearly 1,500 miles to honor this special caregiver.

FirstLight has more than 5,000 caregivers nationwide, with nominations for the award coming in from all over the country. Caregiver of the Year nominees were evaluated based on dependability, advocacy, empathy, quality of service and compassion toward clients. Stephanie was nominated by FirstLight Home Care of Omaha owner Jaye Firmature McCoy.

“Stephanie has been making a difference in people’s lives for a long time, and she absolutely deserves this honor,” said Jaye. “She came to FirstLight nearly three years ago with 15 years of in-home care experience. Back then, we had no idea the impact she would have on our clients, our office staff and our business.”

Jaye goes on to say that Stephanie has excellent personal and companion caregiving skills. She embraces every client as if they were her own family, and she connects with them on a personal level. She not only cares for her clients, but she also provides warmth, understanding and support to the family caregivers she works with every day.

“Stephanie is intelligent, intuitive, kind, compassionate, hardworking, reliable, cheerful, and physically and emotionally strong. And she handles every situation with impeccable grace and patience.”

Jaye added, “We are so grateful that the CEO of our franchise organization drove such a long way to personally present this award to our Caregiver of the Year. It really validates how much we truly do believe, from the top down, in our Culture of Care.”

FirstLight caregivers like Stephanie help seniors and other adults with many needs – from personal hygiene and household duties such as cooking, light housekeeping and running errands, to respite and dementia care. For more information, visit Omaha.FirstLightHomeCare.com.
