When I look back at the last several years in franchising, I have to be proud that there are more women than ever making a huge impact on the industry. From suppliers I meet to the founders who are bringing their brands to market, there has been a huge shift. The conventions and meeting rooms are more balanced, getting closer and closer to 50/50 creating balance and inspiring others (less vocal than me) to speak up and share their story. By Dawn Abbamondi
