Championing an Innovative Care Program

Specializing in providing in-home care services and support, Home Helpers® Home Care prides itself on leading with a spirit of innovation. With a goal of addressing the needs of consumers while providing franchisees with an effective opportunity to scale their business, the Cared-4™ program was introduced in 2020. The program was designed to provide a holistic approach to senior care and covers companionship, 24-hour monitoring, wellness checks, nutrition and well-being.

“To lead in the home care space, a brand must prioritize innovation to stay relevant,” explained Vice President of Franchise Development Bobby Kelley. “We were well aware that the need for additional services was going to extend beyond having a caregiver in the home.”

The Home Helpers Home Care team recognized the need for going above and beyond with home care services for clients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company made it a mission to develop a comprehensive program that checked all the boxes for clients and their family members.

“The program has been very well received because it enables family members to build long-term care plans tailored to specific needs that go beyond traditional companionship and personal care services,” said Kelley.

By combining advanced technology with the services of dedicated caregivers, the Cared-4 program addresses needs, including companionship and fall, motion, and location tracking. wellness calls, meal and nutrition planning, incident response plans and assistance with physical and mental fitness activities are also key aspects of the program.

“We pride ourselves on being an answer in the home care space,” said Kelley. “The Cared-4 program has allowed franchisees to differentiate themselves within the market.”

Because the home care industry is continuously shifting and because clients’ needs change with time, the program is designed to enable quick and effective service modifications.

Kelley is excited about future developments in the Home Helpers Home Care franchise as well as the home care industry as a whole. He is passionate about the brand’s commitment to making life easier not just for individuals needing care but for the family members supporting their loved ones..

“Any day we get to talk about Home Helpers is a good day,” said Kelley.
