The genesis of this partnership stems from a personal connection between 101 Mobility and “Divine Renovation.” John Macdonald, a franchise owner of 101 Mobility based in Connecticut, was featured on season 2 of “Divine Renovation,” installing a ramp for a special family with a young child with a disability. This prompted Brooke Bloomquist, the Director of Marketing at 101 Mobility, to reach out to the producers to explore a national partnership.

Inviting 101 Mobility to feature in a forthcoming children’s book centered on a disabled parent, with a character reminiscent of Erik Estrada’s iconic police officer, underscores the depth of this collaboration. The book is slated for release in Fall 2024.

Under his stewardship, the company witnessed a surge in warranty subscription rates, a more efficient onboarding process, and enhanced franchise margins.

His extensive tenure at Asurion, the parent company of uBreakiFix, is also commendable. With 14 years under his belt, Joe held pivotal roles in Continuous Improvement, Call Center Operations, and Retail Operations, manifesting positive changes at every turn.

Mr. Loch is a seasoned franchise executive with experience at Hickory Farms, United Franchise Group and Jovie. Mark Baker is no longer with the company.

Prior to joining 101 Mobility, Loch served as President of Jovie, a professional childcare services franchise network with 260 international locations. During his tenure at Jovie, Loch increased US brand sales by 46% and national account revenue by 67%. He also served seven years with Hickory Farms in senior franchise and operations roles supporting and managing 800 retail locations in North America.

Loch’s extensive experience as a franchising executive combines a growth-oriented mindset with leadership in business development, supply chain integration and streamlining corporate operations. He boasts a track record of sales growth, expanded market coverage, increased product quality, and improved profit margins.

Seasoned executive with over 20 Years of franchise leadership experience

WILMINGTON, N.C. — 101 Mobility, the leading national provider of mobility and accessibility solutions, announced today that Mark Baker has joined as President. Mr. Baker brings over 20 years of franchise leadership experience, having worked at Remax International, Inc. and Clockwork Home Services. Mark is succeeding Dave Pazgan, who has led 101 Mobility and served as President since 2008.

“I am thrilled to have someone of Mark’s caliber take over leadership of 101 Mobility,” said Pazgan.  “Mark has a long and established track record of leading and developing franchise businesses, and I am very confident he is the right individual to take the 101 Mobility system to another level of success.”

Prior to his career in franchising, Baker served on active duty in the U.S. Army and recently retired from the U.S. Army Reserve, at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. “After two decades in the franchising industry and a similar amount of time in the military, I’m confident in my ability to work with and lead a great team,” says Baker. “I’m so proud to be a part of 101 Mobility, helping Americans of all ages, including many who are veterans.”
