When David Giacobbo tragically lost his grandparents due to inadequate healthcare, he made it his mission to prevent similar tragedies from happening to others. Driven by his personal experience and entrepreneurial spirit, Giacobbo founded One You Love Homecare to help raise the standard of home care for seniors.

“I wanted to educate people on what they should expect from a home care industry,” said Giacobbo. “I wanted to do something to improve the home care industry and make my grandparents proud, so I started franchising and brought our high standard of care across the country.”

One You Love Homecare provides customized care that empowers elderly patients to continue to live comfortably, safely and independently at home. All caregivers are highly skilled and go through a rigorous screening process to ensure people’s loved ones are receiving the best possible care.

The key differentiator for One You Love Homecare is without a doubt its proprietary technology, One You Love Mobile. Designed for aging seniors and those with dementia, the technology allows patients to complete brain games that can then be tracked and scored. Because it’s backed by physicians and research from dementia and Alzheimer’s organizations, the innovative technology can give families insight into their loved one’s condition. Additionally, the technology can be used to communicate with family members and allow them to see what their loved ones’ caregivers are doing during each homecare visit.

One You Love Homecare is rapidly expanding through franchising. The company currently has 15 franchisees with 23 locations as well as a corporate headquarters. Franchisees do not need to have previous healthcare experience to be successful, but they must be passionate about what they do and be actively involved in the business.

All franchisees receive extensive support, including onboarding, monthly calls, sales training and 24/7 access to support staff. Franchisees also will benefit from low labor force requirements and larger territories.

“Our territories are bigger than any of our competitors,” Giacobbo mentioned. ”And that’s because we’re focused on quality rather than selling as many territories as possible.”

Over the next several years, Giacobbo’s goals are to have 100 One You Love Homecare locations and to continue to support seniors with the company’s services and innovative technology.
