Home Helpers® Home Care is an in-home healthcare service that has been providing top quality care for over 25 years and has grown to over 300 locations. The company’s proprietary service offering focuses on providing clients with a higher quality of life, giving peace of mind to the affected families, formulating specific care plans to suit the clients’ needs and keeping loved ones in their own homes.

In addition to taking care of clients and their families, the company is dedicated to helping its franchise owners find success. In April 2023, Home Helpers Home Care selected Amanda Corrigan as its new chief operating officer. Corrigan has an extensive background in healthcare leadership.

“I started in sales and marketing for the nursing home industry. Then I became a licensed nursing home administrator. From nursing facilities, I moved into physician house call visit administration and on to group homes specializing in people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Just before joining Home Helpers, I was managing operations for a telegenetics company,” shared Corrigan. “With my extensive healthcare background and having run my own business, I knew Home Helpers would be a great fit for me from a mission, vision and values standpoint.”

As the COO, Corrigan’s goals include increasing billable hours by 4% over the previous year and opening 25 new locations in 2023.

“To achieve this growth, we’re piloting new programs to streamline the opening process so that owners can open their business quicker and more efficiently,” said Corrigan. She also said the company is exploring new strategies for revenue growth outside of billable hours and how to leverage technology to help franchisees expand.

Corrigan is excited to be a part of the Home Helpers Home Care brand and feels that the tenured leadership team is what differentiates the brand from competitors.

“Having a very tenured and stable leadership team in the franchise means a lot. Our CEO and President, Emma Dickison, has been here over 15 years, and our legal council since inception! With low turnover in leadership, you have a stable team with one thing on their mind – what’s best for our franchisees,” said Corrigan.
