FEATURED FRANCHISE CONSULTANT: BRIAN BEERS

When Brian Beers entered the world of franchising in 2010, he was challenged with reinventing his family’s small auto repair franchise which was struggling to stay afloat after the 2008 recession.

“My dad and uncle were considering selling and retiring,” Beers noted on his blog, describing a franchise journey that was difficult but inspiring. “I decided to forgo a fancy corporate job to try to breathe new life into it.”

After traveling the country to shadow the franchise’s highest performers and learning exactly what policies worked, Beers implemented those same tactics at his family’s shop, hoping to repeat the success. In 2016, he teamed up with his older brother Chris and purchased two more existing locations in their market. In 2017, they acquired a third shop followed by three more in 2018 and 2019. The growth continued, bringing Beers’ total to 33 Midas Auto Repair franchises.

In 2024, Beers expanded his franchising business even further, acquiring the rights for That 1 Painter of Greater Philadelphia. He also recently invested in Waterloo Turf, a company that installs artificial turf in residential backyards. At just 37-years-old, he owns a multimillion-dollar franchise portfolio and truly believes in the power of franchising. That’s why he’s also working as a FranServe franchise consultant: to help others achieve financial freedom through franchising.

“Owning franchises has changed my life. It has earned me more money and freedom than I ever thought possible,” Beers said. “Franchising is a cheat code. It allows ordinary people like me to build an incredible business by following a proven playbook.”

Beers creates free content across social media on how to buy, operate and scale profitable franchises. His podcast, “Business with Beers,” provides practical, actionable strategies for building an eight-figure franchise business. In his weekly blog, Beers shares his insights, emphasizing that anyone can succeed in franchising with the right guidance regardless of their starting point.

His franchise consultancy team currently features six coaches who offer a no-pressure, personalized guidance approach because, according to Beers, “Buying a franchise is a serious life-changing decision.”

On his weekly “ask me anything” group calls, Beers said he delivers the “unfiltered truth” about owning and operating a business. Once a month, the calls include a new franchisee, those with only 12 to 18 months of experience, who talks about the trials and tribulations in the world of franchising.

He also operates an 8-figure franchisee community which brings together driven franchisees who are committed to achieving big growth. The group meets regularly to discuss lead generation, best practices, building a team of “A Players” and how to grow your business from nothing to $1 million to over $10 million.

The idea behind the program, which features two annual in-person meetings and monthly group calls, is to have in-depth conversations specifically tailored to franchise business owners. The community of like-minded franchisees talk about marketing strategies and get into the nitty gritty of business ownership.

“I partner with driven franchisees who are serious about rapid growth,” Beers said. “Our partnership is designed to provide you with the tools, knowledge and support you need to scale your franchise empire.”
