Bringing Hope and Safety: Franchise Impact in Action
For 60 years, Paul Davis Restoration has been helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold and storm damage. But beyond business success, the franchise also prioritizes giving back to the community. For eight years, the brand has partnered with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and for the past year with the National Fire Sprinkler Association.
“Giving back to the community is a natural extension of the mission, vision and core values at Paul Davis Restoration,” said Holly Thode, director of fire and emergency recovery programs at Paul Davis Restoration. “At the center of our culture is the belief to ‘First Serve Others,’ and that philosophy guides both the work we do and the way we show up in the communities we serve.”
Because Paul Davis Restoration has served thousands of customers who have experienced fire damage, partnering with these organizations was a natural fit.
“Firefighters are often the very first to respond when disaster strikes, and Paul Davis teams frequently work alongside them following emergency situations. Supporting the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is a meaningful way for Paul Davis to honor the sacrifices made by firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to support the families and communities affected by those losses,” said Thode.
In the same vein, the National Fire Sprinkler Association aligns with the brand’s commitment to preparedness, education and helping communities reduce the risk of catastrophic fire loss before it occurs. Corporate giving also encourages franchise owners to support local initiatives.
“We provide resources, training and communication materials to help franchisees participate in local efforts, including social media templates, press releases and informational sessions on how offices can get involved,” said Thode.
As a result, many franchisees partner with their local American Red Cross to install free smoke alarms and improve fire safety. They may also give back by hosting or supporting local blood drives, volunteering with disaster action teams that respond to emergencies in their communities or contributing to fundraising and disaster relief efforts.
“For Paul Davis Restoration, giving back to our communities is a natural extension of who we are and why we exist,” said Thode.
