Students Gain Skills for Immediate Career Start

When students join Global Financial Training Program and enter the lucrative field of commercial finance, they learn the ins and outs of helping businesses and real estate investors secure loans that banks can’t provide.

They participate in four days of training, identify the many types of commercial loans available and meet more than 30 institutional lenders to prepare them for an immediate start upon completing the course. One of the most valuable aspects of the program, however, is the marketing support each graduate receives throughout the life of their business. 

“Our lenders lend in all 50 states, so we teach students how to find clients on both a local and national level based on what lenders are looking for,” said Erica Dushey Sarway, vice president of marketing and sales. “We liken it to fishing. You can cast a net and hope and pray that you’ll catch a fish, but if you’re looking for a special type of fish, you should go to the right place that has an abundance of that kind.”

Dushey Sarway calls it a pinpoint marketing approach.

The program also focuses on teaching graduates how to build a referral source, a multi-channel strategy that allows business to flow from multiple directions. 

“We will teach you how to develop your marketing strategy so you will get clients quickly,” Dushey Sarway said. “You’ll learn how to balance your business so you have a good mix of new clients, ongoing repeat clients and potential mega-loan clients. We’ll discuss specialization and niche marketing.”
