For FranServe Affiliate Franchise Consultants, being a part of the world’s largest franchise consulting and expansion organization is already something to be excited about. The fact that it’s also a home-based business is the icing on the cake! In keeping with Franchise Dictionary Magazine’s February special section; Mobile + Home-based Franchising, three consultants were asked to share their thoughts about having a home-based business.
Here is what Steve Smeal, CFC, Franchise Success Development Group; Jason Elvin, CFC, Legacy Franchise Consultants; and Beth Butler, CAFC, Franchise Butler, had to say.
Did FranServe being a home-based business attract you to the opportunity?
Absolutely, the home-based and remote nature of FranServe was a significant factor in my decision to pursue this opportunity. As a former corporate executive and current small-business owner, flexibility in my schedule and location isn’t just a luxury, it’s a necessity. Without the ability to work from home, it would have been challenging to balance the demands of my professional and personal lives effectively. – Steve Smeal
Yes. In the beginning, it allowed me to work on my consulting business at any time and anywhere. Then, as my business grew, it still gave me the flexibility I needed. To me, FranServe is not home-based, it’s anywhere-based. – Jason Elvin
Yes, 100%! During the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband and I decided we wanted to become full-time RVers. We weren’t seeing our kids and grandkids due to travel restrictions. I was tired of a very long commute every day to my corporate job. FranServe was a perfect choice for me. – Beth Butler
What other attributes attracted you to the FranServe opportunity?
There is no limit to the success you can achieve. The ceiling is limitless. That is what motivated me to join and still motivates me every day. – Jason Elvin
There were several factors that made FranServe stand out to me: high return on investment, robust training and support, limitless income opportunities and proven success. A trusted friend, Jason Blough, referred me to FranServe and shared his own success story, which showed me what was possible right away. – Steve Smeal
When you recommend FranServe to a client, do you use the home- based model as a selling point?
Absolutely! I let them know about the support and training along with the technology Franserve offers. I didn’t find that with the other consulting companies, and the earning potential is amazing. I am very clear this is a business you have to work at to be successful and there is expense in lead generation. It requires feeding the funnel, but it has great earning potential if you follow the steps and training. – Beth Butler
Definitely! I always mention how the home-based model makes starting and running the business so much easier. There’s no commute, no need for office space and the flexibility to work from anywhere. It’s perfect for people who want a business that fits around their lifestyle rather than the other way around. – Steve Smeal
