A Local Family Making a Big Impact
Celebree School of Bristow is owned by Nasar Agna and Fariha Nadeem, a husband-and-wife team passionate about fostering a love of learning. Their journey with Celebree began as parents when they saw firsthand how their daughter thrived in its programs. Inspired by this experience, they chose to bring the “Celebree difference” to their community.

“As parents, we know the importance of finding a preschool that feels like a true partner in your child’s development,” said Fariha, an educated and proud mother of two. “At Celebree, we’ve built an environment where safety, trust, and nurturing care are the foundation of everything we do. We want families to know their children are growing, learning, and thriving every single day.”

“I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Celebree School of Bristow. Zaria comes home excited to share what she’s learned – she knows her alphabet, counts on her own, and even bursts into singing and dancing. She absolutely loves playing with the other kids, and it’s clear she’s thriving here,” said Ashley, parent of three-year-old Zaria.

Celebree School Debuts in Colorado with 2-Unit Signed Agreement

  • Early Childhood Education Franchise to Fill Demand for Quality Care in Greater Denver Market
  • Local Duo Andrea Frink and Edward Freehart Break into New State with Untapped Potential
  • The Couple Plans to Focus on Community Engagement as the Pillar of their New Business

DENVER — Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, and summer camp programs, marks a significant milestone with a two-unit signed agreement in Colorado. The new agreement brings Celebree’s nationwide footprint up to 16 states. With site selection currently underway in the Denver and Douglas County area, the first location is slated to open in early fall of 2026.

The duo spearheading the entry into the state are Edward Freehart and Andrea Frink. Prior to joining the system, Frink spent her career in the early education field, with the majority of her time as a pre-school teacher for special education students. Freehart has a proven track record in managing various business relations, specifically in the automotive industry. With five children, the couple has seen firsthand the immense burden on parents in finding the necessary resources for their children. This fueled their search to bring a quality educational model to their community. In their research, the duo was introduced to Celebree School, where they saw the difference in curriculum, teacher support, and prioritization of nurturing children that their community was in need of.

“As a former educator and a parent, I have seen firsthand the toll that educators, children, and parents are currently facing with gaps in educational programs,” said Andrea Frink. “That’s what made Celebree School stick out to us. Not only could we see the difference in their approach to early education, we could see the passion and expertise from their team. Edward and I believe childhood education plays an essential role in life time fulfillment, providing kids with the tools and skills they need for a bright future. As parents, it means so much to us that our school will provide other parents and children in our community with a safe and nurturing environment to grow.”

Marking Celebree School’s entry into the state, the new locations underscore the untapped potential in Colorado as the brand continue aggressive development nationwide. Fueling this vision for growth is Founder and CEO of Celebree School Richard Huffman’s belief that success in early childhood development is equal parts curriculum and a connection that extends beyond the classroom to address the needs of the whole child and the whole family. With Colorado continuing to rebound from the academic deficits the pandemic left behind, Celebree School is committed to its promise to Grow People Big and Small™ as it enters the state.

Colorado is a growing market with a strong demand for high-quality early childhood education, and we’re excited to bring Celebree School into this vibrant community with qualified partners,” said Huffman. “Our expansion here reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of families by providing exceptional learning environments that nurture both personal and academic growth. As population across the state continues to expand, we’re ready to grow alongside it, empowering the next generation through education.”

Celebree School is looking for qualified and engaged individuals seeking single and multi-unit opportunities who are involved in their community, have a passion for childhood education, and are eager to explore the world of franchising.

Family Fun: Celebree School Shares New Ways to Encourage Skill Development During the Summer

2024-08-19T21:19:16-04:00August 19th, 2024|Tags: , , , , |

Early Childhood Education Franchise Highlights 3 Activities for all Members of the Family to Get Outside this Summer

BALTIMORE — Between summer camps, trips to the beach, and time outdoors, the summer is a busy season to pack in all the fun before back-to-school begins. With that, Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, and summer camp programs, urges families to use this summer to develop their children’s life skills by engaging in new activities together.

Summer is a season filled with fun for kids; however, it is also a time where children learn and advance essential life skills such as empathy and creativity, as well as healthy habits such as family bonding and an active lifestyle. These skills are fueled even further by parental involvement and supervision. That’s why Celebree School experts implore parents to take an active role in their children’s summer plans and engage in fun activities the whole family will enjoy.

“90% of a child’s brain develops before the age of 5,” said Kristen Miller, Director of Education at Celebree School. “If in that time a child is exposed to healthy habits, family bonding, and the learning opportunities outdoor exploration can afford, they are setting themselves up for a lifetime of positive habits and a balanced lifestyle.”

As the leading experts in early childhood education, Celebree School offers the following activities that can harness and develop new skills, incorporate the whole family, and offer a fun and inexpensive summer experience:

  1. Gardening: Whether you are tending a big patch of land with an assortment of fruits and vegetables or a few potted herbs on a patio, the benefits of gardening with your children are the same.

Learning where food comes from and how to take care of plants helps a child make the connection between the garden and their meals. Physically planting seeds and digging in the dirt assists in strengthening fine motor skills and big muscle skills and gets them outside in the fresh air and reduces a sedentary lifestyle.

  2. Water Play: Throw on a bathing suit and play in water! This can be your own pool, a community pool, splashpad, an inflatable kiddie pool, sprinkler, water in buckets and some sponges, or a local stream or river in a nearby park.

Children love to explore the texture and sensations of water and benefit from the natural stress relief that water offers. Give a child some measuring cups and spoons and turn this into an experiment that includes math talk and exploring water displacement theories. Jumping, splashing, and swimming all further develop gross motor skills; just be sure to practice water safety!

  3. Catch Fireflies: This is a free activity that can be done right in your own backyard or nearby park. Grab a mason jar, punch some holes in the lid and go outside and catch lightening bugs!

These little bugs are a great introduction to insects for your child and will show them that bugs are not scary. Use this time to teach your child about bioluminescence and actually use the word, bioluminescence, to describe the chemical reaction that causes the bug to light up. Talk about how they use these lights to communicate with each other, perhaps even make up what the bugs are saying to one another, this helps encourage children to be creative.

While outdoor play is extremely vital, Celebree recommends incorporating family outing days and camp into children’s summer routines as well. Whether it be the zoo, a park, museums, or other local family venues, the Celebree team underscores the importance of socializing outside of the household for developing communication and empathy skills.

Camp is another avenue for children to grow these skills, as it allows them to engage in new activities and socialize with peers their age. This year, Celebree Summer Camps saw an impressive 93% enrollment across its 26 camps, where children participate in themed days, classic summer activities, and travel to off-site venues like the movies, laser tag, pottery painting, and more, giving them opportunities to meet new people and try new things.

“Exposing children to new ideas, places, hobbies and more all open a child’s mind to broadened ideas and new passions,” continues Miller. “Children learn from their surrounding and activities they are exposed to. By providing them with new facets to explore, you open the opportunity for future development.”

With programs available for children six weeks to 12 years old, Celebree School lives by its promise to Grow People Big and Small™. The brand was founded on the belief that success in early childhood development is equal parts curriculum and a connection that extends beyond the classroom to address the needs of the whole child and the whole family. Curriculums are designed to develop positive social skills and values while allowing children to learn about the world through age-appropriate play, projects, and activities.

Early Childhood Education Franchise Opens First of Three Locations Coming to the Dallas Market

DALLAS — Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, and summer camp programs, announced today the opening of its first school in Dallas. Located at 2400 Bryan St., the new school is the first of three slated to open in the Dallas area on Monday, February 26th. Celebree School offers customized programs that address the physical, social, emotional, and academic needs of children while adhering to Texas early education standards.

Enrollment is now open, and community members are encouraged to contact Celebree School for tours, visits, and more information. Celebree School of Dallas Arts District offers childcare programs to families and businesses in the surrounding area and will be celebrating a grand opening event in early April.

The new school is owned and operated by local entrepreneurial couple, Mindi and Jeff McClure. Both Mindi and Jeff have extensive experience in the financial services and real estate investment banking industries. During that time, Mindi worked closely with small business owners, sparking a passion for entrepreneurship. This inspired their goal to open a business that positively impacts their community. Coming from a long line of schoolteachers, the McClures understand the value of quality education and care for young families. This dedication is what led them to establish their own Celebree School. The couple is committed to their vision of creating a school environment that will protect, educate, and nurture every child.

Early Childhood Education Franchise Builds on Momentous 2023 with Increased YOY Sales and Multi-Unit Deals

BALTIMORE — Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, and summer camp programs, is primed for continued growth in 2024 following a groundbreaking 2023 that included several new openings, licenses and franchise agreements for new Celebree Schools across the country.

Celebree School opened seven new schools last year, and solidified 23 unique awards consisting of a combination of licenses, future development agreements, and new markets – with 70 percent being multi-unit agreements. Embarking on its 30th year, Celebree School currently has 47 schools open and 55 franchisees who have been awarded over 100 sites. The brand has presence in 17 states with an enrollment of more than 4,570 children.

Alongside this impressive brand development is a strong revenue performance. According to Celebree School’s Franchise Disclosure Document, the average Gross Revenues for the three franchised Celebree Schools that were open for the entire 2023 year were $2,074,263. Additionally, the brand updated its franchise sales and onboarding process by implementing AI-enabled solutions, scheduling tools, and automated workflows, resulting in a 130 percent franchise sales increase YOY.

Key to Celebree School’s 2023 success was a winning formula of expanding with the right franchisees, breaking into new markets with the footing of a new corporate hub strategy, and leaning heavily on its proven infrastructure of support, while prioritizing systemwide enhancements. With plenty of room to grow, the brand entered multiple new markets last year, with Phoenix and Denver becoming prime target markets for 2024. Celebree Schools aims to continue to grow its footprint with qualified, engaged individuals seeking single and multi-unit opportunities who are involved in their communities, have a passion for childhood education and are eager to explore the world of franchising.

To support Celebree School’s aggressive expansion, the brand is continuing its corporate hub strategy in strategic growth markets across the country to fuel brand awareness. The first corporate hub location will open later this year.

“Over the last 30 years, we’ve built an incredible infrastructure for growth,” said Richard Huffman, Founder and CEO of Celebree School. “As we look to the year ahead, we will continue to invest in our family of schools by expanding internal systems and updating our curriculum to focus on Growing People Small™ in pre-literacy, early mental health awareness, conscious discipline, outdoor engagement, and extracurriculars. There is immense opportunity ahead as we expand our nationwide footprint and set the industry standard within the early childhood education sector.”

In addition, the brand has been recognized its outstanding performance in areas including unit growth, financial strength and stability, and brand power by Entrepreneur magazine twice. Celebree School claimed the No. 1 spot in the 2023 Top New and Emerging Franchises , and most recently, landed on the highly competitive 2024 Top Franchise 500 list – an enormous accomplishment for an emerging brand.

Celebree School lives by its promise to Grow People Big and Small™, and was founded on the belief that success in early childhood development is equal parts curriculum and a connection that extends beyond the classroom to address the needs of the whole child and the whole family. Each Celebree School is a village made up of parents, children, and educators with a focus on curriculum-based care that prepares your child for kindergarten and beyond.

Programs are available for children six weeks to 12-years-old with unique curriculums designed to develop positive social skills and values while allowing children to learn about their world through age-appropriate play, projects, and activities. Care is available part-time or full-time, and parents are allowed to drop in and visit at any time.

When franchisees invest with Celebree School, they’re investing in an award-winning organization with a strong culture, solid systems, and a proven business model backed with 30 years of experience in providing exceptional early childhood education.

Early Childhood Education Franchise Opens in Fishtown Neighborhood, Brings Well-Rounded Program to the Community.

PHILADELPHIA — Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, and summer camp programs, will open its newest school in late September in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood near Hancock Playground. Located at 1400 North Howard Street in Philadelphia, the new school will provide a customized program that addresses the physical, social, emotional, and academic needs of children while adhering to Pennsylvania’s early education standards.

Enrollment is now open, and community members are encouraged to contact Celebree School for tours, visits, and more information. Celebree School of Fishtown offers childcare programs to families in Philadelphia, Fishtown and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania.

The new school is owned and operated by father-son duo Louis and Michael Sapperstein, along with Michael’s wife Caroline. Michael and Louis both hail from careers working as CPAs for 12 and 50 years respectively. Working at a regional accounting firm based in Baltimore that Louis founded with a partner in 1979, the two independently gained insights on running a business and managing teams, setting the stage for how they will lead their school’s team of over 20 employees.

While working in education is relatively new to Michael, Caroline has worked as a high school social studies teacher at her alma-mater since earning her Master of Arts in Education. Michael’s passion for education came through his experiences tutoring students, coaching hockey at his alma-mater, and volunteering in the community. Parents of two sons, Caroline and Michael are dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families that their business will serve.

“Our family sees the interest-based learning we encourage at Celebree School of Fishtown as an opportunity to enrich the lives of young people all across Philadelphia,” said Michael Sapperstein. “When we first encountered Celebree School’s mission to Grow People Big and Small™, there was no way we could pass up this one-of-a-kind opportunity to develop education professionals while encouraging wholistic development of children. My father, wife, and I are thrilled to open the Celebree School of Fishtown and inspire children to be confident community members wherever they go in life.”

With plans to open a total of three Celebree Schools over the next few years, the Sapperstein family has already become embedded within the Philadelphia community and look forward to investing in the career development of education professionals across the city. To celebrate the new location, Celebree School of Fishtown will host a grand opening event one month after opening their doors.

Early Childhood Education Franchise Debuts Prototype Designs While Expanding into New Regions Across the Country.

BALTIMORE — Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, and summer camp programs, debuts all-new, modern prototypes set to drive franchise growth as the breakout brand expands into new regions across the country. The prototype designs are intended to drive unit-level volume while also contributing to the brand’s expansion, as it aims to have 170 schools opened by the end of 2026.

“Our philosophy is to design a school that fits into the communities it serves,” said Richard Huffman, Founder and CEO of Celebree School. “As we continue our aggressive growth, the timing was right to invest in our prototypes and be thoughtful of the communities we’re serving, region to region. Parents want to feel like they are bringing their children to a home away from home. Our focus is on building a school that carries that feel, but still creates an amazing learning environment.”

Celebree School has formally partnered with JAM ARCH Inc., an industry leader in designing childcare facilities with experience in designing 250-plus childcare schools across the country. Known for its phenomenal designs and construction drawings, JAM ARCH Inc. is synonymous with first-class finished products. As Celebree School’s sole vendor, franchisees benefit immensely, saving time and money during the permitting and construction phases.

The new designs include a more modern exterior and interior finish to further accentuate the brand, while aligning the look and feel with the culture and environment Celebree School creates for families and team members. Specifically, updates have been made to modernize the main lobby, and new materials and finishes are now offered to franchisees for flooring, cabinetry, and natural wood trim throughout the school. There have also been modifications to the floor plans to make it easier for the teaching staff to maintain appropriate supervision of the children and boast a more collaborative learning environment.

“We hope that these new developments will only continue to showcase the thoughtfulness and value Celebree School brings to the communities it serves,” said Justin A. Mihalik, J.A. Mihalik Architect LLC (JAM-ARCH). “We believe these updates will create positive attention and loyalty to the brand, which will continue to enhance interest from consumers and new franchisee prospects.”

Today, 17 Celebree Schools are open and operating with the new prototype designs. Additionally, all new construction moving forward will feature these enhancements. Celebree School welcomes feedback and innovative ideas from its franchisees and education department as the designs and models continue to evolve.

“As with any good brand, we are focused on innovation and constant, never-ending improvement,” added Huffman. “The upgrades to our prototypes can be seen throughout all of our news schools as we expand across the country.”

2023 is proving to be a momentous year for Celebree School, having already welcomed 13 new franchisees comprising of 27 franchise and future development agreements. The franchise brand now boasts 43 schools open, 56 schools awarded, a presence across 14 states, and an enrollment of more than 4,570 children who are being protected, educated, and nurtured within the Celebree family.

Alongside this impressive growth is a strong performance. According to Celebree School’s April 2023 Franchise Disclosure Document, the average Gross Revenues for the three franchised Celebree Schools that were open for the entire 2022 year were $2,074,263*.

As franchise development continues to surge, Celebree School is looking for qualified and engaged individuals seeking single and multi-unit opportunities who are involved in their community, have a passion for childhood education, and are eager to explore the world of franchising.
