Catherine Monson, CEO of Propelled Brands and Immediate Past Chair of the IFA, and Mark Jameson, Chief Development Officer for Propelled Brands, will be facilitators of the Emerging Franchisor Bootcamp on Monday, Feb 27. The boot camp is a lineup of mentors to support Emerging Franchisors, sharing with them best practices in franchising, that include the “who’s who” in franchising. Their discussion allows participants to ask and get answers to challenging questions from road-tested leaders.

Monson will also be facilitating at the C-Suite Think Tank on Tuesday, Feb. 28 and will be one of three featured panelist speakers on How to Lead Your Brand Through a Period of Rapid Societal Change on Wednesday, March 1. In this session, she will focus on lessons learned the last five years from political to social to economic and technology changes, and strategies to help brands successfully navigate such trends. Monson will also have the pleasure of introducing Amy and Ben Wright, founders of Bitty and Beau’s Coffee, at the Closing General Session on Wednesday, March 1. Mark Jameson will also participate in the IFA International Track session on Conducting Due Diligence On Your Market and Your Prospects on Wednesday, March 1. Michael Santiago purchased NerdsToGo of Bellevue in May 2018 after he walked away from the corporate world to create something more meaningful to his career and community. And at some point along the way, the two realized they worked so well together they joined hands in marriage as well as the business.

NerdsToGo® Recognizes Achievements and Honors Franchisees at 2023 Convention in Las Vegas, NV

Themed IT’s Time, the multiple-day event celebrated franchisee achievements and the growth initiatives of the network.

Over 90 % of the NerdsToGo network attended in addition to key vendor partners and corporate staff members. Attendees represented 35 locations in the US. and included a Vendor Showcase featuring 25 vendors.

MY SALON Suite raises more than $123,000 in one month to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®

Over half a million dollars raised and donated in the past five years.

CARROLLTON, TexasMY SALON Suite has raised $123,744 in benefit of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® through the brand’s Suite Relief Fund™, an annual fundraiser held throughout September in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The salon suite franchise surpassed its initial goal of raising $120,000 through generous donations from clients, members, franchise partners, vendors and the Suite Management Franchising team. Continued support through donations helps St. Jude provide treatment, travel, housing, and food to the more than 400,000 kids with cancer around the world each year, at no charge to their families.

“At MY SALON Suite, we believe in the beauty of giving back, and I am extraordinarily proud of our community for raising over $120,000 for St. Jude for the second year in a row,” said Stacy Eley, president of Suite Management Franchising. “Year after year, we continue to surpass our fundraising goals to help St. Jude carry out their life-saving mission. Suite Management Franchising, the parent company of MY SALON Suite and Salon Plaza, launched the Suite Relief Fund™ in 2017 and began its partnership with St. Jude the following year. Over the last five years, more than half a million dollars has been raised and donated for St. Jude through the Suite Relief Fund. Additionally the Suite Relief raises funds for other causes, including aiding MY SALON Suite Members  affected by natural disasters through the Professional Beauty Association’s Disaster Relief Fund. Aid has been disbursed to MY SALON Suite Members affected by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Ida, Hurricane Ian, recent St. Louis flooding and other natural disasters.

Over $30,000 from the Suite Relief Fund has recently gone towards aiding Fort Myers, Florida Members in the wake of Hurricane Ian. During MY SALON Suite’s annual convention, an additional $1,300 was raised for Suite Relief through a raffle, with roughly half of the prize money going towards providing a Fort Myers-based franchisee with gas and grocery gift cards to give to his Members who are struggling after Hurricane Ian.

MY SALON Suite Announces Goal to Raise $120,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®

CARROLLTON, Texas — MY SALON Suite, a salon suite franchise that focuses on providing stylists and beauticians a personal space to build their business and the beauty industry’s future, will be hosting its annual “Suite Relief” Fundraiser throughout September, with a goal to raise $120,000 in benefit of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
