Supporting Communities, Empowering People
With an extensive history of charitable activities and partnerships, PrideStaff’s dedication to giving back to the community is ingrained in its culture. In addition to its corporate- and franchise-level charitable initiatives, the brand also encourages franchisee involvement in local community engagements.
“The corporate and various franchise offices frequently organize drives to support local organizations,” said Paula Pizarro, senior vice president of franchise development. “A notable example is the ongoing partnership with Fresno Mission, where they have conducted drives for food and other essential items.”
With the mission to fight hunger and help the community, both organizations share a commitment to improving the lives and well-being of people in need.
PrideStaff was founded in 1978 by George A. Rogers with the goal to assist job seekers in finding quality work while providing businesses with workforce resources and supporting improvements in the communities served. With a legacy of giving, Rogers and his wife, Melodie, founded the George & Melodie Rogers Foundation, which provides millions annually to community programs. The PrideStaff team has also been involved in offering aid during natural disasters.
“We launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist employees in their Asheville, North Carolina, office after Hurricane Helene, providing essential supplies and financial aid to help individuals rebuild their lives,” said Pizarro.
PrideStaff has nurtured long-standing relationships with diverse organizations. It first partnered with Valley Children’s Healthcare almost 30 years ago and has provided gifts and special events to families with children in hospitals ever since.
Through its Proud to Refer® program, PrideStaff focuses on servicing existing clients while giving back to charitable organizations. The team reviews client recommendations, matches associates with referred businesses, and donates to a charity of the client’s choice.
Individual PrideStaff offices also launch local initiatives in alignment with the needs of their communities.
“The Fresno office launched a program to make charitable donations to support firefighters battling wildfires,” explained Pizarro. “PrideStaff Dallas is celebrating its 25th anniversary by committing $25,000 to a local nonprofit. This office has been recognized as one of the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work and Largest Women-Owned Business.”
As a nationwide staffing firm in the U.S., PrideStaff’s dedication to charitable programs continues to grow.
