GIVING BACK

Offering fire, flood and mold restoration services, Paul Davis Restoration has established itself as a standout franchise in the disaster recovery and restoration industry. The company has built its reputation on being there for customers during their most challenging moments.

“It’s a really rewarding company to get involved in,” said Alexis Golkin, vice president of Paul Davis Restoration of the National Capital Region. “You’re helping people recover from a really horrific event in their lives.”

With the increasing frequency of natural disasters reported in recent years, on-the-ground support has been more important than ever, and Paul Davis Restoration goes above and beyond to show up for communities in need.

“Every franchise is individually owned and operated, so each one can leave their personal mark in their own communities,” said Golkin.

In Golkin’s case, her franchise has engaged in a number of initiatives. After the recent helicopter crash at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the staff supplied water to first responders at the recovery site. They’ve also participated in a polar plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics and trash cleanups in the community.

The Paul Davis network becomes even more powerful during major disasters through its Catastrophe Certification Program. The program allows franchisees to deploy teams to affected regions, supporting overwhelmed local offices while helping more people in crisis. This is what allowed Golkin’s team to deploy several years back to assist during the 2021 Texas power crisis.

These examples are just a few highlights of how Paul Davis Restoration combines operational excellence with genuine service, but it’s not for the faint of heart. While new franchisees benefit from extensive training programs that prepare them for business success, Golkin recommends doing research and making sure it’s the right opportunity before diving in.

“It’s a very hard industry to be in for many reasons,” she said. “But the rewards are bigger than some of the hardships you deal with.”

For those seeking a business opportunity that offers both financial stability and meaningful community impact, Paul Davis Restoration presents a unique path, allowing people to become essential resources for others in their time of need and to make a difference that extends far beyond the bottom line.
