For over 30 years, Moran Family of Brands has helped its Mr. Transmission®/Milex Complete Auto Care® franchisees succeed in the booming automotive repair industry. The industry, which is expected to grow by $134.9 billion by 2028, is seeing a high demand due to the increasing age of vehicles on the road and a shift in car repair needs, according to TechNavio.

Moran Family of Brands is committed to creating a higher standard of excellence for automotive repair services, window films and safety products. As a result, it covers operations, marketing, technical, sales and grand opening support for franchisees.

“We use a blended approach to training, including Moran University online training and classroom and hands-on field instruction, which offers a comprehensive curriculum covering a wide range of topics essential for running a successful franchise business,” explained President of Moran Family of Brands Pete Baldine.

It takes a new franchisee about one month to complete all phases of the program, including field training with an experienced mentor. Mentors are specially chosen from an elite group of Award of Excellence recipients who demonstrate a commitment to the brand’s core values of DRIVE (Dedication, Respect, Integrity, Vision and Engagement). These individuals must be running successful businesses with a clear understanding of financials as well as franchise systems and processes.

“A mentor has good leadership skills within their locations and is willing to share their knowledge along with following our mentorship manual,” said Baldine.

Understanding that the needs of franchisees are often evolving, the parent company’s training and support programs are updated in alignment with industry trends, new technology and best practices.

“In the next year, we plan to add additional modules focusing on technology and new product integration, sales, community outreach enhancement and in-depth financial management,” said Baldine.

After franchisees complete the comprehensive training program, they can expect additional support for a successful grand opening as well as continuous assistance via financial reviews. They also receive access to a technical support platform and hotline to assist with automotive mechanical and electrical repairs.

“We are dedicated to providing our franchisees with the knowledge and skills they need to build successful and profitable businesses,” said Baldine.
