The FranServe Inc. annual convention, well-known in the franchising business for its exciting and fun format, easy pace, outstanding attendance and participation, top industry speakers, and an endless array of surprises, will be hosted this month from July 12 to 14, building upon the success of last year’s virtual format.

“The convention will once again be virtual this year, as we are still concerned for the well-being of our attendees, and in addition, many of our international attendees are still not permitted to travel,” noted Alesia Visconti, CEO of FranServe Inc., the world’s largest franchise consulting and expansion organization.

“The franchise space is dynamic and always changing,” Visconti continued, detailing how this year’s event will remain fresh and innovative. “New information from brands, new brands, new ways to help people become franchise owners – it’s exciting for sure! FranServe is known for having one of the best conventions in the industry, and that’s because we focus on having fun while promoting education and relationship building. Our company culture comes through loud and clear during our conventions, whether in-person or virtual.”

Keynote speaker for this year’s event is Catherine Monson, President and CEO of Propelled Brands, which includes FASTSIGNS and NerdsToGo franchise brands. Monson is also the chair of the International Franchise Association, and a personal inspiration to Visconti in leadership and drive.

Originally planned to be held at Disney World, Orlando, Visconti had to switch to a virtual platform last year, just five weeks prior to the 2020 event, as Disney World was closed because of Covid. Yet the virtual VIP gala still went off without a hitch and last year’s conference attracted hundreds of attendees.

Incorporating fun activities, along with educational and networking opportunities, Visconti kept the event’s Zoom rooms packed throughout the revised, virtual three-day conference. Greeting her virtual guests donning Mickey Mouse ears, others followed suit, opting to use Disney backgrounds during their Zoom appearances. At the end of the sessions each day, hundreds showed up at happy hour with drinks in hand.

“This is what we do best – connect our franchise consultants with our franchise brands,” Visconti said.
“This is a once-a-year event, and we have 450-plus people attend. It’s well planned and well organized, but it’s also full of surprises!”

Visconti calls FranServe’s conference a great opportunity for franchises both young and old.

“For all brands, this is an exciting and important event,” she concluded. “For young brands, it really helps them get ‘known’ to our consultants in a human way. Whether it be during discussions, happy hours, or interactive activities, bonds and friendships easily form. Education and fun are themes in everything we do – and we know we’ll have a fran-tastic event this year! We can’t wait!”
