In keeping with February’s theme of featuring some of the top mobile and home-based franchise opportunities available, it’s important to highlight the incredible advantages of operating your own franchise consulting practice from your home as a FranServe Affiliate Franchise Consultant.
As a FranServe Affiliate Franchise Consultant, you can work from anywhere as long as you have a phone and a computer. Combining the low overhead investment with no brick-and-mortar needed as well as the benefits of a flexible schedule and the limitless earning potential, franchise consulting creates an incredible opportunity for those looking to leave the corporate world behind.
Jon and Kathy Hylton are a husband-and-wife team who started their Franchise Plus Consulting business in 2016 after completing the FranServe training program.
“We looked at another consulting group alongside FranServe, and we were far more comfortable with the program and training that FranServe offered,” shared the Jon.
Working from home has provided them freedom and flexibility, and when asked if working from home was a driving factor in their decision to choose franchise consulting, Kathy emphatically responded: “Absolutely! We would not have considered it otherwise.”
Brian Beers became a FranServe Affiliate Franchise Consultant in October 2022, and he now produces a weekly newsletter for subscribers, hosts a weekly podcast and provides group coaching that includes webinars and private group chats. Beers chose FranServe because he enjoys the people he encounters. He also applauds the system’s ease of use and the huge selection of brands in the portfolio. FranServe’s website touts that it is the world’s largest franchise consulting and expansion organization with the largest inventory of franchise company contracts.
When giving advice for those considering franchise consulting as a business, Beers said: “Having experience as a franchisee is one of the best things you can do to relate to people looking to buy a franchise.”
For those unfamiliar with what a franchise consultant does, they coach and mentor clients through the process of identifying franchise opportunities that fit their needs and goals. The consultants then guide clients through the franchise discovery process to ownership. This could include assistance with the buying process, legal referrals and access to capital.
Jeff O’Shea started Capital Franchise Consultants in June 2020. Like the Hyltons, O’Shea cites the ability to work from home as one of the most important factors in deciding to become a franchise consultant.
“After much research, I chose FranServe due to the feedback from existing consultants. FranServe also has the most diverse group of brands to choose from,” said O’Shea. “Having the freedom and flexibility to set my own schedule was very important.”
While working from home is favorable, it’s still a business that must be nurtured in order for it to grow.
“The first deal is always the longest and hardest,” shared O’Shea. “Keep grinding. Helping people find the right franchise is a very rewarding experience.”
