GIVING BACK
When Chasity and Tyler Ennis came across American Family Bio-Clean at a true crime convention in Orlando, Florida, they knew their lives were about to change for the better. American Family Bio-Clean is more than just a biohazard cleanup company. It’s a brand committed to helping individuals through the most vulnerable and difficult moments of their lives, which is exactly what drew the husband-and-wife team to the rapidly growing brand.
Giving back has always been at the core of American Family Bio-Clean. From day one, Co-founders Missy and Mike Dalton built the company on a foundation of compassion and service not just to clients but also to their communities. Most recently, Missy has been in talks with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to expand the company’s outreach initiatives and find more ways to support youth and underserved families.
This desire to give back and transform the communities it serves trickles down to the brand’s franchisees as well. Whether it’s comforting a family after a loss or working through hoarding situations, they approach each job with empathy and respect.
“We’re a ‘waste not, want not’ kind of company,” said Tyler. “When we come across furniture, clothing or anything salvageable, we find ways to give it a second life.”
Working in the bio cleaning world often leads to unexpected acts of kindness. From rediscovering heirlooms to uncovering long-lost childhood toys, the items franchisees recover often are donated rather than discarded. For example, after Hurricane Helene in 2024, Chasity and Tyler donated 15 bags of clothes and toys to families in need.
“We don’t want absentee owners,” said Missy. “We want people who care, who want to be in the field and help others. If you care about the clients, the money will come.”
With over 17 years of industry experience, American Family Bio-Clean sets its franchisees up for success with full support, from insurance and collections to marketing and legal guidance. More than that, the company offers franchisees something truly rare: the opportunity to make a real difference within their local communities.
