EMERGING BRANDS

With the rise of the express and subscription-based skincare treatments, GLO30 stands out from the crowd with its science-backed and customizable approach to the monthly facial. With the brand’s monthly facial subscription, clients don’t just choose from a standard pre-set menu of facials, they get one customized to the condition of their skin on that given day.

Dr. Arleen K. Lamba created the GLO30 model to take into account that our bodies change from month to month, as does our skin and its needs. She has developed a state-of-the-art AI skin analyzer tool that gives GLO30 facialists a deeper look into clients’ skin, allowing them to assess which treatments would give them the best results.

The company’s proprietary AI skin analyzer, GLOria, serves as the first step when clients enter a GLO30 location. GLOria has the ability to look deep within the skin and quite literally measure a client’s “GLO”: their skin tone, texture and tightness. With this information, GLOria is able to analyze these critical signs of skin aging while taking into account age, lifestyle, color and environment to produce a thorough recommendation for treatment as well as proprietary GLO30 products for lasting results.

While GLOria is undoubtedly a gamechanger in the industry and a key part of the GLO30 model, the franchise model is built with consistent revenue in mind. The foundation of GLO30 is its monthly SmartGLO facial and NanoGLO filler microinfusion subscriptions, which keep a consistent stream of revenue coming in. In addition to the subscriptions, there are walk-in facials available for clients as well as an entire shop of skincare products that are developed exclusively for GLO30 by Dr. Lamba.

After selling about 100 units in its first year, the company is looking to add 20 more franchise partners and 100 units to its roster in 2025. Each new franchisee must purchase a minimum of three units. New franchisees also get the chance to train and learn under Dr. Lamba with a hands-on training program.
