Suite Relief Fund™ raises over $775,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the last six years

This marks the sixth year of the fundraiser, and the fourth consecutive year the brand has raised more than $120,000.

Since launching the Suite Relief Fund™ in 2018, MY SALON Suite has built a lasting partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. To date, the Suite Relief Fund has contributed over $775,000 to support St. Jude’s mission. These ongoing financial donations help provide life-saving treatment, travel, housing, and meals to more than 400,000 children with cancer worldwide each year at no cost to their families.

MY SALON Suite Names Susan Boresow as Brand President

With 35+ years of experience, Susan has broad experience in franchising, operations, marketing, brand stewardship and leadership and has been integral to the growth of several companies. Utilizing strategic vision and design to deliver on large-scale initiatives, she has a proven track record of overseeing and leading teams through transition and growth.

Susan joined Propelled Brands on May 28.  Prior to joining Propelled Brands, Boresow held executive positions and was a franchising subject matter expert for some of the best-loved and most-recognized brands including Massage Heights, TITLE Boxing Club, Massage Envy, Pump It Up/Bounce U, Sports Clips, Coldstone Creamery, Godfather’s Pizza, and McDonalds.  She is known for providing business strategies and financial due diligence to help franchisees achieve operational excellence aligned with company mission, values, and goals. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a Masters in Marketing.

In her current role as brand president, Boresow will be responsible for increasing franchisee profitability through effective leadership, innovation, new revenue streams, and operational efficiencies, as well as driving growth in the number of franchise locations.  She will focus on franchisee/franchisor collaboration, sharing best practices, optimizing processes, increasing franchisee profitability and satisfaction as well as deepening customer relationships to bring the brand promise to life.

National salon suite brand doubles scholarship funding; giving out a total of $62,500 to empower aspiring entrepreneurs in beauty and wellness

CARROLLTON, Texas — MY SALON Suite, a co-working style space where salon professionals provide beauty services to their clients in private, fully equipped, custom suites, is excited to announce the first pool of winners for its Member Scholarship Program. The program, which has doubled its funding from 2023, now awards 250 $250 scholarships quarterly to current MY SALON Suite Members for industry-related continuing education, totaling $62,500 awarded this year.

Partnering with the Professional Beauty Association, PBA Charities, MY SALON Suite received an overwhelming response to its scholarship program. Beauty professionals pursuing licenses in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, nail technology or massage therapy eagerly submitted their applications for the opportunity to receive $250 each toward their industry education. In this round, 62 deserving individuals have been chosen to further their professional development within the beauty and wellness industry.

All scholarships are provided through MY SALON Suite’s Suite Relief Fund, built on donations made by MY SALON Suite Members and Franchise Partners and administered by PBA Charities. Completed applications are reviewed and scholarships awarded by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Beauty Professional / NCA section of the Professional Beauty Association.
