Senior Helpers provides full in-home personal and companion care to seniors, including help with daily tasks, such as light housework, meal preparation, errands, transportation, medicine reminders, meal planning, and Alzheimer’s care. After 15 years of franchising and close to 350 units, Senior Helpers has learned how to manage a crisis, support owners, and, most importantly, provide world-class care to seniors – even in a pandemic.

“System-wide sales are up considerably with an 8.8% increase. In fact we’ve sold 12 new franchises since March,” explained Rob Cantrell, VP of Franchise Development. Senior Helpers attributes this to the increased spread of COVID-19 and the heightened awareness that senior care facilities, in some cases, have been ravaged by the virus. Bottom line, more families consider at-home care safer for their loved ones.

To continue to see a rise in revenue and provide the best service possible for their clients, Senior Helpers has introduced a number of new enhancements. They recently inked a national lead generation deal with a Place for Mom, a company that specializes in helping families find assisted living facilities for loved ones. Annie Long, franchise development manager of Senior Helpers shared that “This service provides owners with up to 10 highly qualified leads per month, so for new owners that are just getting started, they will already have good quality leads coming in.” They have also implemented a new marketing plan, which provides each owner with an “Aging in Place” program they can use for clients and referral sources. This plan explains the benefits of aging in place and provides a checklist that caregivers can use to ensure consistent care. Lastly, Long is excited to share, “we have parented with Freshly, the meal delivery service, so that Senior Helpers’ clients can get fresh, nutritious meals regularly delivered.”

If you have a professional background in operations, are strong in sales and marketing, or have compassion for helping seniors and their families, Senior Helpers could be a perfect fit for you!
