Quit Your Job, Not Your Dreams
After a long career in corporate America, Dana Kupper was ready for something more fulfilling.
“It was a little bit soul-sucking,” she admitted. “I wanted to be my own boss.”
Kupper knew about Prime IV Hydration & Wellness® through her husband, Martin, who works for the corporate team. She had been receiving IVs since 2018 and already believed in the product’s merits. But she never considered owning a franchise – until one dinner changed that.
“The founder’s husband was at this dinner for the grand opening of another Prime IV in Arizona. He happened to mention that the top spot in the country had only been open for 10 months, and the owner had never owned a business and wasn’t a medical person. And I left there and said, ‘Well, if she can do it, I can do it,’” explained Kupper.
Within the first year, her location became No. 1 in Arizona and one of the top ten nationally. For Kupper, success comes down to two crucial things: customers and employees. She is especially passionate about staff retention.
“When you see the success stories of people, and when your clients hug you because they love coming to Prime IV, and you realize what a difference it makes in their lives – that I love,” she said. “I feel so honored that I get to provide jobs for over 20 people. I want this to be the best job they’ve ever had, their favorite place to work.”
Her thoughtful approach aligns with the company’s commitment to customized experiences. While other IV companies offer standard services, Prime IV Hydration & Wellness delivers high-value treatments and a VIP experience – complete with zero-gravity massage chairs.
“We give people an eye mask, a blankie, some oxygen, and we call it the ‘One Hour Vacation™.’ I think that’s what really sets us apart,” Kupper explained.
Today, Kupper is running three locations, and she hasn’t looked back.
“You do have to put in the effort, but it’s so worth it and so rewarding. I love what I do. When you love what you do, you’ll never work another day in your life,” she concluded.
