Founded in 1978, PrideStaff® began as a boutique-style staffing company in Fresno, California. After earning its stripes in the staffing industry, PrideStaff started franchising its proven business model in 1995. It has been important to the company to build out its franchise network slowly and steadily, carefully refining its model as it expands. This year, PrideStaff aims to open more offices coast to coast, with prime territories available in small, medium and large markets. The company employs over 100 internal employees, distributed nationwide, to support a network of over 80 locations across 24 states and growing.

Through the years, PrideStaff has established a solid infrastructure of franchisee support to streamline the launch of new franchises and create a mode for ongoing coaching. The aptly named PrideStaff University includes both in-person and virtual training opportunities alongside over 600 online courses, all led by experienced staffing industry experts. During the first four weeks after a franchisee opens an office, a vice president field consultant is available on site to help create a strong start.

Ideal franchise candidates are go-getters with a zeal for growing a big business. Experience in managing, leading and motivating a sales team is a big asset, but sales experience is not required due to the company’s robust training. PrideStaff seeks ambitious, resilient entrepreneurs who are eager to learn, unafraid of hard work and capable of building a strong community of clients. PrideStaff values the human component of its operations and seeks candidates who share the same commitment.

According to Senior Vice President Paula Pizarro, the unique aspect of being a part of the PrideStaff family is attributed to the company’s culture.

“Making a difference in the local community, helping companies grow and prosper and placing individuals in successful jobs and careers; this industry, and PrideStaff in particular, changes lives,” said Pizarro.
