As one might guess from the brand’s name, PAINT CORPS™ provides exceptional commercial and residential painting services nationwide, specializing in interior painting, exterior painting, roof coatings and cabinet refinishing. However, there’s one remarkable distinction that sets this company apart from the others.
“We are the only veteran-exclusive painting franchise in existence today. All of our owners are veterans,” explained CEO and Co-founder Burgess Perry, a U.S. Army veteran with 10 years of service. “We are part of Veteran Service Brands’ umbrella.”
Founded by Jack Child, a 10-year Army and Air Force veteran and Perry’s business partner, Veteran Service Brands is a portfolio of service-based opportunities solely focused on setting up U.S. military veterans for success. This means that everyone involved in PAINT CORPS, from the corporate team to its franchise partners, is a veteran or veteran spouse.
“It’s a family network that we’ve created, and it’s not traditional. I don’t think you’ll see that often in other franchise brands,” Perry shared. “For us, it’s much more personal, much more brother- and sisterhood-like, and we have that camaraderie that we had when we were all in the service at some point in time.”
For a veteran seeking a fluid transition into business, PAINT CORPS offers a seamless opportunity with built-in systems that Perry has perfected from the painting company he launched in 2017.
“We spent the last seven years developing and fine-tuning our systems and standard operating procedures for all the things involved in PAINT CORPS, including marketing, sales and customer satisfaction,” said Perry, highlighting the company’s effortless estimating program. “You know, that’s what they’re really purchasing. Obviously, they’re purchasing some high-level coaching for their business, but they’re also purchasing a seven-year head start and many hands in the pot, making this business as good as it could possibly be.”
