N-Compass TV is at the forefront of the booming digital out-of-home advertising industry.

With over 3,000 digital screens in restaurants, gyms, hair salons, car-repair shops and dozens of other businesses across the U.S., N-Compass TV meets consumers where they eat, shop, work and play.

Founded in Colorado in 2008, it is the largest owner-operated indoor billboard network in the country, with more than 100 authorized dealers.

As print, radio and other traditional media fade, the digital out-of-home market is garnering more of the U.S. advertising dollar, and N-Compass TV has felt the effects of this shift. “We are growing extremely fast,” said Quinn Varela, director of sales.

Authorized dealers sell advertising to local businesses, whose full-motion color ads play in loops of 25 to 30 seconds on screens at host locations. The host businesses pay for the placement of the screens, which promote their products as well.

According to N-Compass TV, consumers spend an average of 35 minutes at host locations, where they are something of a captive audience. At 84%, its indoor digital billboards have the highest retention rate of any type of advertising, the company reports. Consumers cannot pause, skip, delete, or turn off N-Compass TV’s screens.

“We’re in a really unique position because we place advertisements in high-traffic areas where people are looking. People cannot pause, skip or block the content displayed on our network” said Varela, who trains new owners and is acting dealer for Denver’s corporate network.

The company’s support and training are unsurpassed, Varela noted. “We are a business in a box. When you buy a dealership, you are essentially buying an entire support team.”

The corporate office provides everything from logos, websites, social media and sales materials to online meetings, software portals and ad design. “We really are there with you every single step of the process,” Varela said.

N-Compass TV offers incredible passive income and scalability, allowing dealerships the freedom to be as large or as small as they like. “It fits pretty much anybody, no matter who you are, whether you want to be a giant corporation or just a small local business,” Varela said.
