Mr. Transmission/Milex Complete Auto Care has been providing customers with a one-stop auto-care solution, promoting long-term customer relationships and delivering more revenue streams for franchisees, for more than 30 years. This year has been good for the franchise with stores setting new sales records.

“We’re seeing two to three stores per week set new sales records,” says Amanda Maquet, project manager-marketing director for the Moran Family of Brands.

As reported in July, system sales are up 23% over the first quarter of 2020, which was a strong quarter prior to the pandemic. Factors contributing to this increase include an overall strengthening in the U.S. economy and an increase in road trips during the summer. But more importantly, consumers are keeping their automobiles longer. Statistics show the number of automobiles that are 12 years or older is increasing by 15%, and in the past decade, the average length of ownership for new and used automobiles increased 60%. This means more business for the automobile repair industry and great news for Mr. Transmission/Milex Complete Auto Care.

An increase in sales has resulted in an increase in candidates interested in becoming owners, Maquet says. “We are getting ready to open a second store in the Miami area with our second franchise owner from Argentina,” she says, nodding to the E2 visa-friendly candidate environment the Moran Family of Brands has in place.

In other news, the franchise has recently launched its newest brand, Turbo Tint. The automotive window film, paint-protection film, and architectural window film model opened a location in Florida in August, with two more stores scheduled to open in October and November.
