Upon exiting the corporate world, Don Grindle prospected high-return, low-startup franchises that he could build and grow with his son, Walker. He hoped to find a scalable opportunity to secure his family’s legacy and guarantee personal fulfillment.

After one meeting with Money Pages’ CEO Alan Worley, the Grindles knew they found what they’d been seeking. Fast-forward to 2023, and they’re celebrating 10 years in business.

Money Pages, a leading multimedia company, empowers entrepreneurs through multiple revenue streams, including direct mail, digital marketing and branding.

“We were the first franchise,” Don explained. “We started our first franchise in 2013 and expanded the following year to our second. A few years later, we launched our Daytona magazine, and it’s been four years since we launched our New Smyrna location.”

The team dominates Volusia County, Florida, with magazine distribution exploding to over 117,000 homes. In 2019, they surpassed $1 million in sales.

The Grindles connect with local business owners to identify pain points and help them achieve brand lift. “That’s what our business is really about – building relationships and maintaining them,” said Don.

Walker leverages previous experience in hospitality to forge community connections. Don complements Walker’s sales acumen by engaging vast management expertise to drive and scale operations. The partnership has yielded increased clients, pages and circulation every year in business.

“It’s been so fun over the years to not only make money ourselves but also help these businesses use us as a platform to grow their businesses,” said Walker.

And the Money Pages’ corporate office handles everything from graphic design to vendor negotiations, allowing the Grindles to be the face of Money Pages.

Not surprisingly, working together has strengthened Don and Walker’s father-son bond.

“It’s made our relationship so much closer,” confirmed Walker. “He is my best friend. I’m forever grateful that he gave me the opportunity to be in the position that I am and for what we’ve been able to build. I think the sky’s the limit.”

“I’ve loved seeing the company grow over the years,” added Don. “There’s nothing like being in charge of your own destiny.“
