As a trusted leader in the disaster restoration industry, Best Option Restoration helps homeowners and businesses recover from damage caused by mold, sewage, fire, smoke, water or storms.
Paul Kang bought Best Option Restoration’s Lakewood, Colorado, territory in November 2023 because he admired the brand for being “true differentiators, even within a very crowded industry.” Now, less than two years later, Kang’s franchise has been chosen as Denver’s Best Home Renovation and Restoration Company as part of Westword magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
“We are incredibly gratified by the recognition,” said Kang about the honor. “Our company is not the largest or longest-running restoration company in Denver by any means, but we fight as hard as anyone to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.”
For Kang, the recognition is a full-circle realization that his entrance into property restoration was the right choice.
“Disaster restoration is a great industry to be in,” he explained. “There’s consistent demand as natural and man-made disasters continue to affect homes and properties year-round. There’s no risk of technology or AI taking over the work; actual people will always be needed on the ground to restore properties. Plus, it’s incredibly rewarding to help customers and their properties recover from crises.”
All of these factors make restoration an attractive industry, so it’s no surprise that it’s also an incredibly competitive industry.
“Best Option Restoration offers a sustainable path to win; the brand has pioneered different ways of doing things, whether it’s how to use technology to complete jobs better and faster than other companies would or developing a unique approach to building trust within our local communities,” said Kang.
With over 75 franchised locations currently part of the Best Option Restoration family, the company prides itself on being a national franchise with an extremely local presence, and it plans to expand upon that presence in the coming years.
“If you’re going into restoration, you need a rock-solid idea of how you will be different and better than dozens of other companies doing the same thing,” said Kang. “Best Option Restoration gives you that foundation.”
