In 2017, Tyler Fuss began his journey with LIME Painting®, not as a franchisee but as an account manager at its corporate offices in Denver and Boulder, Colorado. In 2020, he decided to take the leap into ownership, purchasing locations in Boulder and Fort Collins. In just five years, he has expanded his business, adding three locations in Phoenix, Arizona, and three more in San Diego, California.
LIME Painting is a luxury painting, surface restoration and home-service franchise that serves high-end residential and commercial clients.
“I chose to invest because of my strong connection with its founder and CEO, Nick Lopez. The company’s unique niche in the market immediately resonated with me, as I believe we deliver exceptional value to an underserved segment within the high-end residential and commercial painting space. Beyond the business model, I also appreciate the sense of community and collaboration that defines LIME Painting – it’s a culture that truly sets us apart,” Fuss said.
Fuss’s experience in corporate helped him understand how the culture of the brand directly impacted owners, a benefit he now experiences firsthand.
“The LIME Painting corporate team works tirelessly to support franchise owners through collaboration and innovation. I’ve had the privilege of serving as president of the Franchise Advisory Council and as a national success coach, which has allowed me to both witness and contribute to that culture of support firsthand.”
As a national success coach, Fuss meets with franchise owners at least once a month to review their annual planning workbook and help them stay on track toward achieving their goals, focusing on the areas where owners want to improve, including sales, marketing, operations and leadership.
“I also travel to their locations twice a year to work alongside them, supporting efforts in artisan onboarding, production management and leveraging advantages unique to their markets,” Fuss said. “This role not only strengthens my own business by keeping me sharp and engaged but helps other owners increase profitability, gain practical tools for success and align their day-to-day actions with the bigger vision for their businesses.”
