At just 24 years old, Luke Reiner is the youngest franchise owner of the LIME Painting franchise.

“I started as a summer intern for LIME Painting in 2019. This was my first experience in the sales industry, and it helped me gain confidence in lead generation, build relationships with homeowners and gain knowledge about the paint industry,” shared Reiner. “I finished college and went back to LIME as a full-time visual realty consultant in May of 2021. I continued following the LIME way, and my success let me level up each year. I had the opportunity to be the National Success Coach in 2022 and became a leader in the franchise development aspect of the business.”

Reiner’s success in implementing the LIME Painting process in various territories is what led him to launching his own location in St. Petersburg, Florida, in the summer of 2023. Since becoming an owner, Reiner has had to overcome some challenges.

“The biggest challenge I’ve had to overcome is taking risks and accepting being uncomfortable,” explained Reiner. “Being a franchise owner and an entrepreneur is a life-changing decision that you must be all-in to have success.”

Reiner’s experience as an owner has been great so far, and he has discovered that he particularly enjoys the relationship building that comes along with being an owner.

“My favorite thing about this business is the relationships made with the homeowners, artisans and store reps,” he shared. “I love the support I get as a business owner, and the opportunities I get when my trust is gained. Lastly, I love the end result of each job. LIME Painting focuses on world-class quality, and I always look forward to the final walkthrough on each job.”

Because of his past work at LIME Painting, Reiner knew going in how strong the corporate support would be.

“Here at LIME Painting, we are one big family. The corporate team has talented individuals that can help you on each aspect of your business, through sales, marketing, operations, bid support and technology,” Reiner said. “Overall, the corporate team has a passion for what they do, and they make sure they follow the LIME core values through their attitude and everyday interactions.”
