I often take a beat in Q4 as the year is wrapping up to spend some time being mindful and reflecting on the success and challenges our organization has encountered throughout the year. What were we aiming for, and how did we meet or miss our goals? Why are we choosing our current path to success?

The ‘what’ Huntington has addressed so far in 2021 is clear; we continue to provide our proven learning methodology via innovative platforms to keep students engaged and thriving in school. Remote learning is here to stay, and our team continues to be at the forefront of tech-forward solutions for students.

In a time when families need it most, Huntington’s certified teachers have answered the call, supporting families throughout the country in closing skills gaps and resuming academic progress after experiencing significant learning disruptions.

Our how is constantly evolving as we continue to learn how to better utilize technology and plug those lessons into individualized learning programs for our students.

Reflecting on why we are doing this is the most significant to me. At our core is Dr. Ray and Eileen Huntington’s ethos that all children should have the skills, confidence, and motivation to succeed. Our 300-plus local franchise owners are creating those opportunities in their communities every day.

Huntington was created for the same reason we work tirelessly to address learning hurdles in today’s ever-changing school climate, because at the heart of it all are our students and teachers.

In a time when so many students have faced the risk of being left behind, while teachers have felt stretched too thin and as if they are not able to do enough, despite it all our Huntington family has stayed focused and did not allow failure to become an option.

‘Why’ we do this is the piece that gives me the motivation to succeed. Huntington continues to build a strong family network of centers across the country. I am proud to lead this mission-driven organization and grateful to our franchisees and teachers for making that mission possible!
