Honest Abe not only puts a roof over your head that looks good, but it also makes sure its roofs are the absolute best in the industry.

Al Goldsmith, vice president of franchise development, explains that there are two main concepts that Honest Abe has built its business on: design and trust. “What we are selling them in the house is a design and trust concept. People love designing a kitchen for many thousands of dollars, even though only a small amount of people will ever see it. For half of the cost, you are designing the part of your house that everyone sees. We also bring the trust that our products and services are the best, and we will always be there when our customers need us. That is why our offices have a physical location, because when you break it down, we are selling a trust in our products to them,” he said.

Honest Abe has created the complete package for its franchisees. Every aspect of the business has been thought through, and systems have been created that make running the business straightforward. For example, the brand developed one software platform that manages daily operations and even tracks each project from concept to completion. This streamlined business model also allows owners to either manage the business on their own or hire staff to manage it for them. The possibilities are endless for franchisees. This spring, Honest Abe will be launching a major asset to the marketing side of the business. Marketing can often be seen as a daunting task for new owners, so a seamless one-stop system has been created that offers options for every type of marketing. “Our new platform will allow owners to utilize the buying power of a nationwide advertising agency on a local self-serve basis. They will have access to every type of tool available in their area, from a dashboard in the platform. Television, radio, mailers, yard signs, and online advertising will be rolled out to all new and existing owners in the next two months. This will put an entirely new level of control in the hands of the owners of their business,” said Goldsmith.

Goldsmith continued to explain all the capabilities of the brand’s software and the opportunities available to franchisees. “Say an owner wants to do a data dig and find all the owners who have homes built between 1970 through 1980. We are able to find a database of those people, put it into our system, and an owner can then choose how they want to market directly to them, and order it all right from the platform. We already have the marketing designed for them. Owners just choose the offer, click ‘order’ and they get printed and sent out. All the marketing is 100% trackable, so there is complete access for owners to follow up on leads,” Goldsmith said.
