HomeVestors® property specialists are in the position to bring hope to sellers who have felt like they have had nowhere else to turn. HomeVestors is a national network of real-estate investors who buy homes that are not viable for the regular real-estate market.

David Zoretic, a Chicago HomeVestors franchisee, explains how the reward of being a part of the HomeVestors team isn’t just financial – there is a reward in helping others. “With almost every buy, there is a really good outcome for a seller. Last week, a woman contacted me about selling her house. Her husband had passed, and the house needed a lot of work. She was not used to dealing with the finances and was stressed out about the process. She needed to find a new home and sell her existing home, and she was not comfortable using a Realtor or having strangers in her house. Our job is to make this hassle-free. She told me exactly what she needed, and I worked to accommodate each one,” Zoretic said.

HomeVestors gives its franchisees the proprietary tools they need for the business so they can focus on the people they help. “A lot of what I do involves bonding with others, listening as opposed to talking,” explained Zoretic. “HomeVestors has a well-developed process that I know works. I do not try to reinvent the wheel. I may not be the first investor in a customer’s house, but I often get a comment that I was different from others. I came in and took the time to meet with them and understand them and the challenges they face.”

This year, HomeVestors has seen impressive growth in sales and has received several awards that reflect the forward momentum the company is maintaining. HomeVestors ranked fourth out of 150 franchises in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2021 Top Home-Based & Mobile Franchises, based on an evaluation of over 150 data points, including costs and fees, size and growth, franchisee support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. HomeVestors was also ranked Number 64 in the Franchise Times Top 400 annual rankings in 2021, an improvement by 30 places over 2020.
