Founded in 2011, That 1 Painter has been a family-owned and operated company from the start, built on strong values and its commitment to giving back to the community. This approach to business has made That 1 Painter stand out in the industry. In 2021, the company started franchising its business model and then began operating under ResiBrands.
With ResiBrands as the parent company, franchisees benefit from a centralized marketing hub that takes care of all the marketing efforts for each location, including customized needs. Additionally, That 1 Painter franchisees get access to ResiBrand’s content team, videographers and SEO team, allowing them to unload a lot of backend work and truly focus on growing their businesses. Franchisee support even extends to franchisee coaching.
“We walk with them every step of the way,” explained Tyler Colby, a business coach for That 1 Painter. “Through their first hire, their first $100,000 month and beyond, our culture is built on support, accountability and shared wins. We believe that if we help franchisees build profitable, well-run businesses that serve people well, success will follow.”
When it comes to giving back to the local community, That 1 Painter does so through its Paint it Forward program, which partners with Sherwin-Williams to paint homes for families in need for free. As of this year, the Paint it Forward program has successfully painted over 100 homes, even traveling to Asheville, North Carolina, to help families recover from last year’s hurricanes.
That 1 Painter prides itself on its integrity as well as the part it plays in helping entrepreneurs’ dreams of owning a business come true.
“For me, it’s getting to see so many people become business owners and support them in that sort of entrepreneurial journey,” shared Annabelle Worth, ResiBrands brand partnerships manager. “It feels like more than just one large company that you’re working for, and you really get to see people branch out. Getting to support them through that is just really cool to see and so is watching them grow as business owners and entrepreneurs.”
