VETERAN APPRECIATION

Global Financial Training Program is a veteran-owned business opportunity that teaches how to secure loans for small- to medium-sized businesses. Students pay a one-time fee of $19,950 to enroll in the program and learn all aspects of commercial lending. Upon completion of the program, graduates own their own commercial finance companies.

Businesses need capital in any economy to start up, stay afloat and expand, according to CEO and Founder Phil Dushey, an Army veteran who began his program more than 35 years ago.

After his military service, Dushey made millions of dollars in corporate finance, until he was downsized and decided never to work for others again. His Global Financial Training Program is a business opportunity, not a franchise; there are no royalties, overhead, additional fees or employees. Graduates have the potential to earn up to six figures and can work from anywhere they have a cell phone.

Types of students include U.S. military veterans, refugees from corporate America and anyone with managerial, sales or relationship-building experience. The brand even offers a reduced enrollment fee to all U.S. military veterans.

“I love our soldiers,” Dushey said. “We offer a special discount for all military veterans.”

Dushey’s love of the country, its prosperity and its defense are part of his motivation for supporting veterans. According to Dushey, veterans often succeed because the military teaches discipline and how to get the job done. The program’s low point of entry further benefits veterans who face a limited job market or lack the capital to start a business of their own.

Students attend four days of Zoom classes, in which they learn about trends in finance and the many types of commercial loans available, from working capital to lines of credit. Loans currently popular include those for restaurants, home health care settings, laboratory testing, cleaning and janitorial services.

“We provide money to businesses and real estate investors that cannot obtain money from their local banks,” Dushey explained.

Students meet over 20 commercial lenders and learn the language of finance so they’re comfortable dealing with decision-makers. Classes are limited to 10 to 12 students. The interactive sessions are in high demand and fill up every month.

Upon completing the program, graduates are approved by more than 40 large institutional lenders, who waive their standard requirements because of their long-standing relationship with Dushey and his program. They’re also ready for business immediately and can secure loans in as little as 24 to 48 hours, earning up to 15% in commissions. An assigned lifetime mentor also assists graduates with the first few transactions and always is available for guidance.

“The best part of our program is the mentor program,” Dushey said. “The person who teaches the program becomes their mentor.” Graduates also are supplied with 1,000 initial leads, a professional website, a logo, monthly webinars and more.

Dushey is committed to helping veterans and others earn unlimited funds while working from anywhere and enjoying their families and freedom.

“I see the year ahead as being really, really good,” he said. “New businesses are opening like crazy, and they need the money.”
