Making Money From Day One

Ramona and Brian Long earned a profit right from the start through their Money Pages franchise in Kennesaw, Georgia, when they launched in 2019.

“When we started, Brian was still in corporate America, so I started from scratch myself for the first year,” explained Ramona. “All I did was the magazine; I didn’t do anything else. We were so blessed and fortunate that in my 30,000 Kennesaw drop, we were making money from day one – from issue one.”

Money Pages is a top multimedia enterprise with two decades of experience across magazine publishing, direct mail, digital marketing and branding. The company empowers local businesses to thrive, and communities to save money through its 360-degree marketing solutions.

For the Longs, Money Pages represented an affordable franchise opportunity with multiple revenue streams inside a resilient $70 billion industry, and an ideal second act for their careers.

“We’re both children of small-business owners, and we had the same entrepreneurial dream,” said Brian.

Brian retired from the corporate world when business took off, and the couple hired a sales team. “We have three territories and are probably launching a fourth next year,” Ramona said. Money Pages has also given the Longs the flexibility to participate in the lives of their five grown children.

The Longs have racked up some impressive awards as well. They won Best of Cobb three years in a row and were nominated for Best of Georgia 2023 for their industry. Ramona also won Kennesaw’s Local Businessperson of the Year in 2022 and Kennesaw’s Local Main Street Mentor in 2021.

Despite all the recognition, nothing is more satisfying to the couple than supporting community businesses. “It’s been so rewarding to be part of other people’s dreams and help them grow into realities,” Ramona said.

“We’ve got clients that have been with us since day one, and we’re just growing and growing,” she continued. “We couldn’t have asked for a better fit; we couldn’t ask for better support. The level of training and access to players at the corporate level we get every day is amazing.”
