City Wide Facility Solutions has big aspirations for its franchisees and wants to help them bring their dreams to fruition.
“Our focus is getting them on the path to profitability as soon as possible,” said Kasey Skala, director of marketing. “We have franchisees who hit the million-dollar revenue milestone within their first year.”
City Wide Facility Solutions helps clients throughout the U.S. and Canada manage their own facilities by providing full-scale interior and exterior services. The company was founded in 1961 and began franchising in 2001, when CEO Jeff Oddo saw an opportunity to positively impact communities through his “ripple effect” philosophy. Since then, the company has flourished.
“We continue to invest in the tools and technologies that allow our franchisees to grow and scale their business. We’ll hit 100 franchise locations and nearly $700 million in revenue in 2023, and we believe we still have significant growth ahead,” said President Troy Hartman. “For entrepreneurs looking for a scalable model that offers recurring revenue and a support model that’s truly invested in their success, there isn’t a better concept than City Wide.”
Skala attributes much of the company’s growth to its in-depth training and incomparable model, which provide everything from backend accounting to business development and recruiting.
“We have a 10-week onboarding process for new franchisees, where they spend a week here in Kansas City doing onboarding,” Skala explained. “They go back into their market for a few weeks, and then they return for a second week closer to opening.”
Expert consultants also remain on hand to steer entrepreneurs through questions.
“We have 96 locations and six business performance consultants who really get to know the franchisees and understand their businesses. The performance consultant and the franchisee work hand-in-hand from day one.”
For entrepreneurs who wish to create financial freedom and control their time and destiny, City Wide Facility Solutions presents a turnkey, recession-resistant concept. The numbers tell the story.
“Our average unit volume is $8 million. Our top location did $40 million in revenue,” said Skala. “One of our smallest territories in terms of population will do close to $12 million this year. The growth opportunity with City Wide is tremendous.”
