Best Option Restoration is a fast-growing brand in the remediation industry, helping homeowners and businesses recover from damage caused by storms, water, mold, sewage, smoke, fire and more.
With 70 franchises open across the country as of December 2024, the Denver-based brand emphasizes quality service, the latest technologies and superior training and support for franchisees in a recession-resistant industry.
Franchisee Mike Martinez joined the brand in January 2020 and now owns two territories in Thornton and Boulder, Colorado. He formerly worked in the automotive industry, where he enjoyed helping people and working hard. To him, the transition into restoration and remediation was seamless.
Martinez learned about Best Option Restoration from Kyle Chiasson, a former high-school friend and Denver franchisee who is now brand president. He also had met Founder Nick-Anthony Zamucen and was impressed by how well the brand was doing.
“The reason I joined was because I wanted to be part of a team that inspires growth and success,” Martinez said. “The leadership and vision of Kyle and Nick, as well as the values of Best Option Restoration, made it a natural choice for me. It was clear that this franchise wasn’t just about business but about building something impactful and community focused.”
Best Option Restoration franchisees and their fully certified technicians meet people in some of life’s most difficult and challenging situations. Martinez is among the brand’s top performers.
“We put the customer first, always,” he said. “We focus on quality service, quick response times and building strong relationships in the community.”
Best Option Restoration strives to exceed customer expectations and aims to set itself apart from the competition. It does so through its commitment to quality and customer care, attention to detail and its thermal-heat technology that more quickly restores properties to their pre-disaster state.
“Being part of a strong team like Best Option Restoration also gives us access to resources, training and support that help us stay ahead in the industry,” Martinez said.
The brand provides large, exclusive territories, low overhead and startup costs, in-class and on-the-scene training as well as back-office setup and ongoing support. Its goal is to add 30 locations each year.
“My main goal is to continue growing our brand and providing exceptional service,” Martinez said. “I want to expand our reach, build stronger community partnerships and help shape the future of the company by mentoring other franchisees. Giving back to both the community and the franchise system is a big part of my growth plan.”
Martinez gets to fulfill his mentorship goals by also serving as a brand franchise council member.
“I get the chance to mentor newer franchisees and share best practices,” he said. “I also bring feedback from franchisees to corporate, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard. This role allows me to help shape solutions that benefit the entire franchise system and contribute to the overall growth of the brand.”
For Martinez, Best Option Restoration is more than a business; it’s a family.
“The support system, training and team environment are second to none,” he said. “If you’re willing to work hard and embrace the brand’s values, this franchise gives you everything you need to succeed.”
