Best Option Restoration, a leading structure remediation concept, is promoting its first franchisee to company president. When Nick-Anthony Zamucen founded Best Option Restoration in 2016, he established a leading structure remediation concept that has since helped thousands of homeowners and businesses recover from damage caused by mold, sewage, fire, smoke, water or storms.
Kyle Chiasson signed on as the company’s first franchisee. He
led operations in the Greater Denver area for seven years, helping Zamucen’s company expand and grow. Now, Chiasson has been tapped to become Best Option Restoration’s next president.
“Kyle is really fulfilling his destiny,” said Zamucen, speaking about why he has chosen Chiasson to fill this significant role at Best Option Restoration. “He was franchise No. 1, the prototype for the entire system, and now, he is ready to step into this leadership role.”
Zamucen, a serial entrepreneur who has had tremendous success in various business ventures, feels confident in stepping back and letting Chiasson take the reins.
“I’ve built the company to a certain level, hired a wonderful management team and will now move on to something else,” he said. “Of course, I’ll hover around for a while and make sure the transition goes smoothly, but then it will all be in Kyle’s hands.”
Chiasson, 31, who worked in banking before finding success with Best Option Restoration, has been shadowing Zamucen for the past six months and recently sold his location in preparation for the shift in leadership, learning the intricacies of the company’s day-to-day operations before he officially takes over on January 1.
“I’ve been a franchisee for the better part of a decade, so I hope to leverage that experience and continue to help the company grow and develop,” Chiasson said. “I met Nick when he was just launching this business and have watched him build quite an organization. My goal is not to come in and make a bunch of changes. Best Option Restoration is trending in a nice direction, and my intention is to keep pushing and keep growing.”
A trusted leader in the disaster restoration industry, Best Option Restoration has more than 80 franchises across the country and is consistently adding new sites every month to meet demand.
“We could have hundreds of franchises if we took just anyone on board,” Zamucen said. “But we’re selective because that strong family culture is the most important thing.”
The company prides itself on being a national franchise with an extremely local presence, earning a strong reputation for its quick, 24/7 response time and advanced methods of thermal technology, which are far more efficient than traditional dry-out methods.
“From a restoration standpoint, our techniques are state-of-the-art,” Chiasson said, detailing the reasons why he believes in this franchise. “But, I think the culture of this business is truly the best part. Folks are glad to be here as franchisees. There’s a family feel here. Franchisees take their investment seriously because they know they’re not just a number. Without their success, we’re not successful.”
As Chiasson shifts to president in the new year, he’s fully committed to fostering the same principles as Zamucen.
“Best Option Restoration has been such a wonderful company to work for, and I’m happy to continue on in this new role,” Chiasson concluded.
