Tyler Jock, an install crew leader, recounts how his military service brought him to the field of solar. “In the Army, I was assigned to an engineering unit, where I learned a lot about carpentry and masonry, along with electrical, which was my main job. Those three skills have helped a ton within the solar industry. After leaving the Army, I did a couple of jobs looking for something that I could make a career out of and a job I could find joy in. When I came into contact with Astrawatt Solar, I started researching solar. Now that I’ve been with the company for three years, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else,” Jock said.
