In the world of biohazard remediation, American Family Bio-Clean stands out not only for its expertise in cleaning up after traumatic events but also for its deep commitment to the people it serves. Specializing in sensitive situations, such as homicides, suicides, unattended deaths and hoarding, American Family Bio-Clean provides healing and compassion during some of the most traumatic events of people’s lives.

With over 17 years of experience, American Family Bio-Clean provides all the knowledge and tools its franchisees need to excel. The company’s commitment to its network of franchisees is evident in success stories like North Carolina owners Tyler and Chasity Ennis

Tyler and Chasity’s journey with American Family Bio-Clean began at a crime convention in Florida. As a longtime true crime fan, Chasity was intrigued by the opportunity to work with American Family Bio-Clean. At the time, Chasity was still an active-duty member of the U.S. Air Force, but she immediately felt passionate about the company’s mission.

Over the next year, Chasity and Tyler kept in touch with the owners of American Family Bio-Clean, Mike and Missy Dalton. As she got closer to retirement from the Air Force, Chasity participated in a military skill bridge program that allowed her to intern with American Family Bio-Clean while still on active duty. This hands-on learning experience allowed her to gain practical knowledge in biohazard remediation, including everything from the technical aspects to the tactical aspects of running a franchise. The Daltons’ mentorship and guidance became an invaluable part of Chasity’s transition into the business world.

“Mike and Missy were always there for me, even from multiple states away,” said Chasity. “There’s never been a time when I couldn’t reach out to them. Missy is always available by phone to offer advice and support. They genuinely want to see us succeed.”

American Family Bio-Clean is unique in that it promotes a family atmosphere where everyone supports one another. The Daltons have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in developing a system that supports franchisees at every step, including providing legal and insurance resources, helping develop marketing strategies and creating a well-established support system that helps franchisees hit the ground running.

“It was a little overwhelming at first,” said Tyler. “There were months when it felt like nothing was happening, and I would get frustrated, but Mike was always there to talk me through it and remind me that slow months are normal. His support helped me keep going when I wanted to quit.”

That support paid off. During their first week of business, Tyler and Chasity brought in $14,000. Within a year, they were already close to paying off their initial loan. With the Daltons’ guidance, they’ve transformed their passion for helping others into a successful business.

For anyone considering a career with American Family Bio-Clean, Tyler shared one piece of advice.

“Don’t give up,” he said. “It’s not always easy, but if you stick with it and put in the effort, the rewards are well worth it.”
