Since appearing on the hit cable television show “Dirty Rotten Cleaners,” American Family Bio-Clean, known for specializing in the remediation of human and animal biohazard events, has been receiving a lot of interest from potential owners. To help those who are interested better understand how this niche franchise supports its owners, Co-owner Missy Dalton revealed what a new franchisee can expect.
“We guide owners every step of the way,” she shared. “We start with our extensive training program at our corporate office. This two-week training includes 40 hours of classroom training to learn all the required rules and regulations, how to deal with families that are impacted, navigating insurance, OSHA certification for blood and pathogen handling and accompanying us to customer calls/job sites.”
Additionally, the company’s support doesn’t just stop at training.
“Once the owner is ready for their grand opening, we spend two weeks with them in their home market, helping them market the business and networking with key partners such as funeral homes and police departments,” said Dalton. “I coach owners that it’s important to be very hands-on. We bring cookies or breakfast with us to show that we appreciate their time, and we also promote our referral bonus program.”
As American Family Bio-Clean continues to grow, Dalton is already planning to host annual refresher training events where franchise owners can come together to learn about any new requirements put in place as well as renew certifications that expire each year.
The company further supports its owners by providing access to chemicals that are needed for the jobs they take on.
“Owners purchase the proprietary solutions directly from us. Our products are human safe, pet safe and environmentally friendly,” explained Dalton.
This single-source supplier makes it easily accessible and removes the guess work.
American Family Bio-Clean is currently looking for “hard working, good listeners who can be compassionate in stressful situations” to be a part of its ownership network. For those interested in a franchise opportunity that offers hands-on, one-of-a-kind support, this brand is definitely worth a look.
