With premium New York-style pizza, a diverse menu and an inviting atmosphere, it’s easy to see why the award-winning concept of Grimaldi’s Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria is making waves across the U.S. and internationally.
From the minute anyone steps into a Grimaldi’s location, they’ll be greeted with a tantalizing aroma coming from the company’s signature coal-fired brick oven. However, Grimaldi’s is serving up more than just delicious food, as the company boasts higher-than-average unit volumes in the pizza space, making it a lucrative opportunity for franchisees.
Today, there are 46 Grimaldi’s Pizzeria locations in 12 states, one international location in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and several more in the works for the year ahead. The company is eagerly looking to expand around the world by partnering with passionate franchisees who have a desire to succeed and to get involved with their local communities. When someone chooses to open a Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in their community, they can be sure it’ll be a hit.
“Recently, we opened a franchised location in Ankeny, Iowa,” said Michael Flaum, COO. “The Ankeny community was so welcoming and excited to have a Grimaldi’s Pizzeria come to the town that they braved over 10 inches of snow to come see our newest franchisee on opening day.”
With an experienced management team, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria provides franchisees with a road map and hands-on support. Franchisees for Grimaldi’s Pizzeria receive a seamless conveyor of support including:
- Site selection
- Construction and build-out of the restaurant
- Comprehensive training program before opening
- On-site opening support at the new restaurant
- Ongoing operations and marketing support
- Certified training stores throughout the U.S.
At least 60 days before opening, franchisees and other employees will be required to attend and become certified in the company’s management training program, which includes classroom instruction and in-restaurant training.
“Our goal is to continue to expand with franchisees to serve Grimaldi’s authentic New York-style coal-fired brick oven pizza to pizza lovers across the country in a strategic and measured way,” said Flaum. “We’re excited to partner with passionate individuals and look forward to bringing New York’s vibrant pizza culture to communities nationwide.”
