Featuring a menu full of heartwarming German food and an undeniably festive atmosphere, Hofbräuhaus of America is entirely focused on its customers’ well-being. Creating and embracing German Gemütlichkeit – the idea of a state or feeling of warmth, friendliness and good cheer – the franchise provides a cozy atmosphere and environment for guests to enjoy their meal and beer.
And with a menu full of “soul food” – available in both hearty and light versions – the eatery has a little bit of everything for those wishing to maintain good physical and mental health.
Known for its extensive list of Hofbräu beers and Bavarian cuisine, the brand, which was franchised in 2005, prides itself on originality, standing apart from the fast-casual saturation of burger offerings and Italian restaurants.
The brand dates to 1589, when Duke Wilhelm V of Bavaria founded a brewhouse in Munich. Today, the main brewery operation is still based there, providing beer for the German market and exporting its brews to franchises worldwide. The overall vibe of this family friendly establishment: To make visitors feel good.
A varied selection of salads fills the menu, alongside a range of proteins – pan-fried fish, roasted chicken and crispy pork cutlets are just a few of the options. There are also a vegan schnitzel and vegetarian meatballs served hunter-style to please a health-conscious clientele.
